Simon Cowell and his glamorous wife Lauren Silverman held hands as they exited the final of Britain’s Got Talent at the Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday night.

The music mogul, 63, looked hot in a white shirt as he put on a sweetheart showing with Lauren, 45, as they drove home in their car.

It comes after Simon shockingly lost his voice during the live final when fans urged him to ‘drink water’ on social media while watching.

Lauren looked fabulous as always in a strapless gold dress that showed off plenty of legs as she beamed next to her love.

She wore her dark locks in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for a typically glamorous make-up look.

Simon appeared to lose his voice during the live final of Britain’s Got Talent on Sunday when fans urged him to ‘drink’ water.

The star could be seen coughing and spluttering while pointing at his throat, turning the show into chaos.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 47, were forced to move on quickly after former X Factor star singer Amy Lou was unable to provide his feedback.

After Christina Aguilera’s beautiful rendition of Reflection by the new mother, the presenters turned to hear the feedback from the judges.

Only for Simon to get up and point to the throat, unable to speak to Amanda Holden, 52, who quickly intervened and said, ‘There’s something in his throat!’.

The Geordie duo then quickly moved on to hear from Bruno Toniloi as Simon could be seen trying to regain his composure.

On Twitter, a fan asked, “Is Simon okay? Have some water honey’.

With a second writing, “What’s wrong with Simon’s throat?” LOL’.

A third quipped, “Simon is casually choking in the background.”

And another said, “the way Simon choked and instead of Amanda patting him on the back, she gently stroked his back.

A fifth annoyed viewer said: ‘If Simon stopped eating during the acts, maybe he would stop choking. I think it’s so rude!’.

Norwegian comedian Viggo Venn has been crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2023.

Dancer Lilliana Clifton, 13, and 14-year-old magician Cillian O’Connor placed second and third respectively, but missed out on the title.

Viggo took home the £250,000 prize and a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Performance.

However, spectators appeared to berate Viggo, while social media erupted when viewers claimed the talent show had been resolved.

After technical difficulties and a string of interruptions during Saturday night’s Britain’s Got Talent semi-final, ITV could be forgiven for crossing fingers and toes as the grand final of their long-running flagship kicked off on Sunday night.

Viggo, 33, not only donned his now-iconic hi-vis vest, but forced Chief Judge Simon to wear a matching one as rose petals were thrown over the pair

Judge Alesha Dixon told him, “You captivated the nation. They love you.”

Bruno Tonioli added, “I think your physical comedy is world class, you’ve created one of the most memorable characters since Mr Bean.”

And Simon was full of praise for the prankster, telling him, “At least you didn’t make me look stupid tonight. I’ve never met an act like you in my life, I admit it, I really love you now.’

Viggo called back to his original audition at the end of his performance, taking off his jacket for Daft Punk’s “One More Time” to reveal another hi-vis vest.

And when asked why he has so many coats, he told co-host Declan Donnelly, “I wear so much high-vis because it’s very cold in Norway.”

Before the show aired, Simon explained how he hoped the program would help contestants build better lives for themselves.

He said, “I think you have two things: you want to make a show that people will hopefully enjoy watching. And second, you want to give whoever it is that chance, hopefully, so that things get better in their lives after they audition. I think where things have changed a lot from where we first started, it’s always been about the end price.”

While many took to social media to praise Viggo for his win, some criticized him online, with one penning: ‘Nothing irks me more than when complete JOKE ACT wins a match’

Another wrote: ‘This man wore a hi-vis to a talent show and got away with £250,000. Fair game’.

A third added: ‘The public is rightly captivated. Viggo Venn has zero talent. I hate the British public’.
