Pregnant Kate Ferdinand shares adorable birthday snaps with husband Rio and friends

Kate Ferdinand took to Instagram on Sunday to share adorable snaps from her 32nd birthday.

The former TOWIE castmate, 32, was glowing as she showed off her perfect baby bump and sun-kissed skin in a skintight black maxi dress.

She paired the dress with large black Wayfarer sunglasses, which shielded her eyes from the blazing sun.

The ex-reality star, who is expecting her second child with footballer husband Rio Ferdinand, looked radiant as she smiled for the camera.

Against the backdrop of a blue ice cream truck, she proudly posed with her lemon ice cream, adding to her summer aesthetic.

In addition to the stunning solo shot, Kate shared several other photos, including a cute snap with husband Rio, 44.

The happy couple, who share two-year-old son Cree, were all smiles as they got ready for the photo.

Their young son took pride of place on Kate’s Instagram carousel, with her main photo showing the youngster’s back in his mother’s arms.

Only Cree’s royal blue T-shirt and cute blonde and brown curls were visible as Kate wrapped him tightly in a warm hug.

She also posed with some girlfriends and some young people present on her birthday.

As she and her friends grinned together in an instant. the children excitedly gathered around Kate to watch her blow out the candles in another.

She captioned the photo set: “It doesn’t get much better, family, friends and a lemon ice cream on your birthday.”

In addition to the couple’s son, Cree, and their imminent arrival, the blonde beauty is a stepmom to Rio’s children Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 12.

Rio shared the children with his first wife Rebecca Ellison, who died of breast cancer in 2015 at the age of 34.

While the older kids weren’t seen in the birthday photos, Kate shared a hilarious video of the blended family enjoying the spoils of the holiday on Thursday.

The video showed Rio and all the kids, including Cree, jumping into a pool together.

The family wore complementary swimwear for poolside fun, while safety came first for Cree, who wore armbands and a life jacket.

The elated mom and stepmom added a caption to the idyllic snap reading: “Family fun.”

She also took to Instagram on Thursday to show off her growing baby bump as she marked 33 weeks of her pregnancy.

Alongside the gorgeous photo, she confirmed that she was just seven weeks away from her pregnancy.

Her latest post comes just days after Kate revealed her exact due date in a Q&A on her Instagram account.

Last week Kate was asked, “How long before bubbas is due. Exciting times’, to which she replied: ‘Eight more weeks and the belly is growing fast.’

Alongside the photo, Kate shared a photo of her growing belly in a crop top and sweatpants, proudly showing off her belly.

Elsewhere in the Q&A, Kate revealed that she and Rio have only just worked up the courage to start kissing in front of their kids, six years after getting together.

Kate shared how she and Rio started a no-kissing rule when they were in front of his three children from his late wife Rebecca.

Kate said her entire relationship with Rio was not romantic at first due to the complications of his children from his first marriage.

She shared how she and Rio made sure the kids didn’t mind their early “dates” together by limiting themselves to half-hour visits to the pub.

Speaking about how she and Rio had to be sensitive about their relationship in the beginning because of the kids, Kate said, “We didn’t have the whole honeymoon.

“It went straight out ‘fine, we have kids and if we’re going to make this work, we’re all in on it.’

“So the romance was pretty dead because there’s three kids, they lost their mother, you think about so much, you just want to get it right.”

“I don’t feel like I was there all the time, and when I was there I was fun. And absolutely no kissing. We said this the other day – I said “we don’t kiss that much in front of the kids”.

“I said ‘it’s because we were so conscious in the beginning not to do it, not to worry them or make them uncomfortable, that all of a sudden we went through with that’.”

“So we’re starting to peck a little bit. We say “Oh, give us a kiss – Urgh, disgusting”. But we are now six years later.’
