After rising to fame as Harry Potter’s girlfriend Hermione Granger, the actress was spotted in Venice last week with a mysterious man wearing glasses that wouldn’t look out of place on the young wizard.
The pair rode in one of the city’s water taxis and dined at a restaurant on the small island of La Certosa, where they were joined by two others.
Ms Watson, 33, had been dating Brandon Green, the son of retail magnate Sir Philip, but it was reported last month that the pair had split after 18 months together.
It was in Venice last year where their relationship went public as they were seen lovingly holding hands.
The actress wore a silk sundress and an oversized white shirt, while her companion was dressed in a black T-shirt and black linen shorts.
After a dinner full of animated conversation, Mrs. Watson got up to leave, but couldn’t resist taking one last bite.
