Trump and Obama’s former doctor: Biden ‘mentally or physically unfit to be president’

A former White House physician to Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama has expressed concern about Joe Biden’s health, saying it is “malpractice” to allow him to run for re-election.

Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson has claimed that he is “mentally or physically unfit” to lead the country and “it’s a bad situation for us.”

The now Republican politician slammed White House officials for letting Biden, 80, run for a second term and said those close to him, like his wife Jill, should stop him.

His comments come after Biden fell on stage at a graduation ceremony at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado on Thursday.

The recent stumble marks his fourth public fall since taking office in January 2021.

Jackson insisted Biden’s health is becoming a national security issue and said something needs to be done.

“This man is not mentally or physically fit to be our president, and it’s a bad situation for us,” he told Fox News Channel’s Hannity on Friday.

Part of the job of the President of the United States is to inspire confidence and to exert strength, and he doesn’t do that. He can’t, he’s too old for that, and I think that’s a pity.

“I think his lack of physical ability and his physical decline are now starting to emphasize the cognitive decline that we’ve been looking at for so long.

“It’s a package that just isn’t sold around the world, and it’s becoming a national security issue for us. We have to do something about that.’

Jackson added: “To think this guy thinks he can be president at 86 when he’s 80 now [and] could be in office for another six years is just malpractice by some of the White House in the West Wing for this to happen that he is even talking about running for another term.

“Someone has to be accountable. People like Jill Biden and people around him who are supposed to love and care about him should do something about this, and they should stop this because it’s a shame.”

He said it has reached a stage where “our commander-in-chief needs a walker” during events.

‘Can you imagine? It would be a better image than what we’re seeing now — seeing him crawling around in a walker,” Jackson added.

“At least he wouldn’t fall flat on his face in front of the whole world… It’s embarrassing for him, and it’s embarrassing for our country.”

The former White House physician, who served under both the Obama and Trump administrations, is praying that Biden will not be re-elected in 2024 and believes he may not even be able to finish his current term.

Jackson has frequently questioned Biden’s health, distributing a letter to House Republicans in April demanding that he take a cognitive test or drop out of the presidential race.

“We are calling on you to either resign immediately and decline your bid for re-election or submit to a clinically validated cognitive screening and make those results available to the public,” it read.

“When you first announced your bid to run in the 2020 presidential election, questions and concerns were raised about your cognitive abilities.

“Those worries have only grown as your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent since you were elected.”

The Texan congressman called in February for an end to the “cover-up” of the president’s health after his doctor declared him fit and healthy for office.

The Biden administration has consistently dismissed concerns about this health, with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre saying that attacks on his eligibility for office had failed in the past.

She said, “You know, we’ve heard these kinds of attacks or comments before. And you know, if you go back to 2020, they said the president couldn’t do it in 2020 and attacked him there, and he beat them.

“Perhaps they forget the victories this president has achieved in recent years. But I always like to remind them.’

Biden’s tripping on Thursday comes just weeks after he lost his footing while visiting the Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima, Japan.

During that event, a railing was available on a staircase that the president had to navigate down.

He ignored the railing and stumbled, walking down and recovering his balance. Biden also stumbled when he boarded Air Force One on a trip to Selma, Alabama, in March.

Biden fell up the stairs when he boarded Air Force One in 2021 and fell on his bike near his beach house in Delaware last June. He was not injured in any of the incidents.

A pool reporter who traveled to Colorado with the president said Biden “walked back to his seat when he fell.” He turned out to have tripped on stage over a black sandbag.

“As he fell, he pointed to the black sandbag, suggesting he had tripped on it,” the report said.

Biden’s age has already become an issue in the presidential race, as he would be 82 when sworn in if he wins a second term.

His main rival, 76, former President Donald Trump, has repeatedly questioned Biden’s mental capacity.

“Well, I hope he wasn’t hurt,” Trump said when asked about the incident with Biden on Thursday.
