Ten shares the cast of Dessert Masters

Channel Ten has shared the cast for the new season of Dessert Masters, a dessert-themed spin-off from MasterChef Australia.

The network’s Instagram account shared a cast photo with several MasterChef stars, including Reynold Poernomo, Jess Lemon and Anna Polyviou posing on set for a group photo.

Also in the cast this year are Morgan Hipworth, Andrew Bowden, Kay-Lene Tan and dessert king, Adriano Zumbo

The series is hosted by Melissa Leong and international chef Amaury Guichon, with a prize of $100.00 for the winner.

“Our cast for Dessert Masters is one of the gill-loaded, top-of-the-pops, créme de la créme of the Australian pastry industry,” Melissa said of the cast.

“It doesn’t get any better, higher quality, more magical than these chefs, each bringing their own unique take on sweet creations to their own world.”

Co-presenter Amaury Guichon was equally impressed by the caliber of the new season’s participants.

“I’m so happy to be in Australia to experience the unique patisserie scene and be a part of Dessert Masters,” he said.

Dessert just finished filming in Melbourne.

Guichon is no stranger to TV as he previously fronted the Netflix series School of Chocolate.

Leong, meanwhile, has been a host and judge for the MasterChef Australia franchise since 2020.

The food critic first started her TV career on Netflix’s The Chef’s Line in 2016 and now she’s entering the world of deserts first with the new Channel 10 show.

The series has just completed production in Melbourne
