Lewisham talks in this week’s issue Stellar magazine that the inspiration for her skincare came from looking for healthier options.

When it came to the idea [the brand] Emma Lewisham, it started with a conversation with my doctor about lifestyle and whatever [products] I used,” she tells the publication.

“It was a time in my life when I thought about the way I lived,” she recalls. “I didn’t feel bulletproof.

“I had lost my mother to cancer. I started not taking things for granted.”

Lara recently showed off the natural ingredients in Emma Lewisham’s range in an unorthodox way.

In an Instagram post, the 35-year-old tried the brand’s face mask, and as she sat outside during a beautiful sunset while applying the skincare, flies were interested.

The bugs repeatedly landed on Lara’s face, as she waved them off urgently, only to return.

“I think flies love @emmalewisham too!” she joked in the caption alongside the video.

Emma Lewisham has become one of Australia’s best-selling brands and is refillable, which Emma says means it has ‘up to 75 per cent less carbon’ compared to standard products.
