Kim Zolciak’s estranged husband Kroy Biermann told police she punched him in the head

Kroy Biermann told authorities that Kim Zolciak hit him on the head a day before he filed for divorce from the Bravo star.

Both Biermann, 37, and Zolciak, 45, filed for divorce from each other last month after 11 years of marriage.

In the May 4 incident, a pair of Milton Police Department officers visited the home they used to share, the outlet reported. The call came two days after police were called to the home by Biermann during another controversial altercation.

Zolciak told police that Biermann locked a safe containing valuables she owned worth $175,000 — including designer purses and jewelry — and hid the key from her.

Biermann told police the property was acquired by both parties during their marriage and that he intended to sell them to cover ongoing expenses, the report said.

Biermann told police that Zolciak was dealing with an ongoing gambling problem and had recently lost a large amount of money, leading to an altercation that led them to talk about breaking up or divorcing.

Biermann complied with police officers’ request to take them to the basement of the house where the safe was stored (without Zolciak present) and open it for them.

Officials said there were no wallets in the safe, but other valuables, according to the report, and at one point gave them Zolciak’s passport, which was stashed in a Louis Vuitton briefcase.

Biermann told police Zolciak punched him in the back of the head earlier in the evening during an argument over the contents of the safe, but showed no injuries and received medical attention when presented.

Police said Biermann also showed them a recording of the altercation, but reportedly pressed charges against her, according to the report.

In the incident, Zolciak requested that police remain on the property while she took items from the home and placed them in her vehicle, according to the report.

Officials said they stayed at the residence for more than an hour, during which time Biermann and Zolciak continued to argue.

In one case, Biermann was seen contacting his lawyer on speakerphone to define what constitutes marital property.

Police said they had to remind both parties to remain cordial to each other, as their four children — Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kane and Kaia, nine — were home at the time of the altercation. (Biermann had adopted Zolciak’s older children from previous relationships — Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21 — when they were minors in the couple’s earlier years.)

Police said that after they left the house, Biermann contacted them again to report that Zolciak had used his credit card without his permission. Zolciak told officials that the card was for a shared account and that she had used it to fuel up.

Zolciak told police that Biermann had not been employed in seven years and that the money in an account they shared came from income she earned through her KAB Cosmetics business.

Zolciak called the police on May 5 to report that Biermann had locked her out of the bedroom they had shared when she returned to the house to collect medication. Biermann told police he left the medication in a hallway of their home.

In the wake of their divorce filings, both have petitioned the court for sole legal and physical custody of their four younger children.

They have sharply disputed each other in court documents, as Zolciak said that Biermann smokes marijuana, lending credence to his ability to raise their children; while Biermann claims that Zolciak’s gambling addiction consumed her time and decimated the family’s finances.
