Linda recently revealed that she’s doubling the life of her favorite bakery purchase by using an unlikely item from Kmart.
The customer explained that she uses the retailer’s 6l refrigerator storage container ($15) to store her bread on her kitchen worktop.
While the item was intended to keep fruits and vegetables fresh in the refrigerator, many are jumping on the bandwagon that it’s the perfect lunch box.
Linda previously experimented with storing her bread in the refrigerator or in a wooden box, but the Kmart container has yielded the best results.

“Since I use the vegetable container for my bread, it keeps twice as long,” Linda shared on a popular online forum.
She added, “Anything to save money these days.”
Many Kmart fans were immediately intrigued and decided to give the hack a shot for themselves.
“What a great idea, I’m tired of having to throw bread away because it’s moldy,” said one woman. ‘Thanks for the tip!’
