Former Bachelor star Monique Morley has spoken out about an extremely terrifying situation that happened to her while vacationing in the Caribbean.

The 35-year-old reality TV star became “practically paralyzed” after her drink was spiked while at a resort bar last weekend.

Speak against Yahoo lifestylethe influencer, who was on the 2019 series of The Bachelor Australia, said she was nailed in a bar in the middle of the day.

There was hardly anyone in the bar except for another man who walked past her, but his motives seemed sinister.

As he shuffled past her, Monique said she was looking at the ocean, which is when she thinks the man drugged her, despite only looking away from her drink for a split second.

“My drink had only just been served and when I turned to finish it I started to feel really weird, especially in my legs. I asked my girlfriend if she felt the same way and she said no,” she told the publication.

“I said, ‘Hey, I think my drink’s spiked.’ She asked how as we were the only people there but it must have been that man. The drink was only left unattended for five seconds.”

Monique said that she then started to feel very dizzy and asked her friend to take her home.

When she returned to their accommodation, the influencer said she was “practically paralyzed” and had been “severely ill” for hours.

The reality star has spoken out about her terrifying ordeal so hopefully other women aren’t targeted like she is.

“With the holidays coming up, please everyone be so careful when out and about, especially when traveling and abroad,” she said on Instagram.

‘Watch your drinks and always have someone you trust around you. You should also always listen to your gut and remove yourself from situations in which you don’t feel comfortable.’

The influencer posted a bikini photo from her vacation to her Instagram grid on Tuesday, with the caption, “You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.”

In the comments, one of Monique’s followers asked how she is doing after being stung.

She replied, “Honestly. It’s the scariest thing there is, but you can’t let what ifs hold you back. I panic all the time but eventually meditate myself out of it. You are stronger than you think.’
