Toddlers & Tiaras star Eden Wood looks unrecognizable as she rarely appears on TV to discuss her next steps after high school
She was first thrust into the spotlight when she was just six months old, before becoming one of the main faces of Toddlers & Tiaras.
And Eden Wood looked unrecognizable as she made a rare appearance on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old was all grown up when she revealed that she recently graduated from high school and now plans to study broadcast journalism.
“I waited four years, I worked so hard. I actually graduated valedictorian of my class so that was such an accomplishment for all that work and all those years to pay off,” she said.
Eden, who has won more than 300 titles during her time as a beauty queen, said she wants to study something she loves.

She continued, “I have my heart out [studying] broadcast journalism. I’ve always been in front of the camera. I’ve always been the one being interviewed, so I think it would be cool to switch positions and be on the other side.’
Eden was one of the main characters in Toddlers & Tiaras, which followed girls competing in children’s beauty pageants.
Her mother Mickie previously discussed how far she went to prepare her daughter for the stage – including spray tanning, outfits and makeup.

Speaking of an episode of the show shared by TLC on YouTube, she estimated she paid, “Probably about $65,000 or $70,000.”
Similarly, Heather Ryan, who acted as manager of the mother-daughter duo, added, “Mickie doesn’t give a damn when it comes to election stuff.
“Now she’s spent enough on clothes and photographs to feed just about every child in Botswana.”
Mickie announced in 2011 that Eden would no longer participate in pageants so she could instead focus on forging a career in Hollywood.
Her mother Mickie (pictured together in 2012) is said to have earned more than $70,000 during Eden’s glittering pageant career
