Florence Pugh is brought back to reality when a man belches ‘a proud burp’ as she admires her Valentino campaign at Rome’s airport

A “pinch me” moment for Florence Pugh came to an abrupt halt when a fellow passenger let out a “proud belch” at Rome airport last week.

The 27-year-old actress was stunned to see the terminal station’s walls covered in posters from her Valentino campaign after being announced as the new face of the designer brand.

Florence was filming the various shots from the photo shoot as she drove through the airport, but was brutally interrupted by a passing wind.

But the Don’t Worry Darling star saw the funny side of it and decided to share the video on Instagram with her followers on Tuesday.

She wrote, “Chessie and I walked through the Rome airport last week to film our last day of We Live In Time and we were welcomed by this series of Pugh faces.

“We both reached for our phones to film because it was crazy and just as I finished filming the last faces the dude behind it bellowed proudly and put a brilliant end to all our video nonsense.

“If you listen closely… you’ll hear everything. Plus the weird Pugh smile in all its glory.”

Fans took to the comment section. One wrote, “He’s just grounding you!”

Another said, ‘Haha appreciation belch?’ Another fan wrote, “Haha I’m crying.”

Last month, Florence was announced as the brand new face of Maison Valentino.

The actress posed for a series of eye-catching snaps as she modeled for the luxury fashion house’s latest collection of bags and shoes.

Florence shared her joy to be a part of the campaign, writing on Instagram, “As you can see… I am quite shocked and ecstatic to announce that my Maison Valentino campaign is here.

“It is truly an honor to continue making art with my family at Valentino. Working with talented people is one thing, but working with talented people who are good friends feeds the soul!

“This campaign really fed the soul. Thank you for letting me be you.’

She added: ‘@pppiccioli cheers and love and many thanks to the past, present and future. I’m damn proud of this one.’

The actress has regularly appeared in Valentino and has been praised for her fashion choices.

At the Oscars ceremony last month, she appeared on the red carpet in a voluminous off-white dress from the brand, and she also turned to the designer for a quirky take on a black tie outfit for the premiere of her latest film, A Good Person, in New York.

Florence was reportedly dating Charlie Gooch, a friend from her Oxford school days, after ending her three-year relationship with actor and director Zach Braff, 47.
