EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Exes Donna Air and Damian Aspinall reunite for birthday trip with daughter Freya

After 16 years apart, could Donna Air and Damian Aspinall rekindle their romance?

Actress Donna, 43, shared a photo of the couple, who have been together for six years, enjoying a holiday in Marrakech with their daughter Freya, 19. In the caption, she wrote: ‘With the Fam, weekend vibes.’

Last week they also celebrated Damian’s 63rd birthday together. The owner of the wildlife park, the son of fugitive Lord Lucan’s friend John Aspinall, separated from his wife of six years, Victoria Fisher, last November.

Last month it was revealed that he had joined the celebrity dating app Raya. He also has two daughters, Tansy, 33, and Clary, 31, with his first wife, Louise Sebag-Montefiore.

Maybe Donna, whose relationship with the brother of the Princess of Wales, James Middleton, ended in 2017, wants to make it lucky for Damian for the third time?

Just red for wine connoisseur Mick…

Mick Hucknall’s band is called Simply Red, because of the singer’s ginger hair, but appropriately he also likes a glass of red or two.

The 62-year-old Mancunian even set up a wine estate in Sicily. If you have a preference for expensive wines, you also drink less, he thinks.

‘I’m not a heavy drinker,’ he says in the White Wine Question Time podcast. ‘Good wine is meant to be enjoyed; you’re not really making it up.

“I’ve found that my passion for wine has tempered my alcohol consumption.”

Does the same rule apply when it comes to Mick holding back the beers, I wonder?

Helping war-torn Ukraine is a thankless task for former MP Brooks Newmark.

“I don’t think anyone in the UK has done more in Ukraine than I have,” said the former Tory civil society minister modestly.

Newmark, who spent much of the past year traveling to and from the beleaguered country arranging evacuations, says: “Nobody in the government has picked up the phone. You’d think someone would say, “Hey, thanks.”

‘I’m waving the British flag there. I’m not saying I’ve saved many lives, but at least I’ve protected some people from getting hurt.’

If you’ve ever wondered why Louis Theroux always seems to wear the same kind of outfit, the truth may be worse than you thought.

‘I am very averse to change; I’m one of those people who wears the same clothes,” says the 53-year-old documentary filmmaker. “If I’m lucky, I’ll change my socks and underwear.”

I am sorry to report that Sir John Aird, 4th Baronet, godson of King George VI and page to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, has passed away at the age of 83.

He divided his time between his farm in the Cotswolds and China, where he was a successful venture capitalist.

He is survived by his second wife, Xiao Fen Wang; and his children by his late first wife Margaret Elizabeth Muir: daughters Rebecca and Belinda, and son Sir James John Aird, 5th Baronet.

The official coronation quiche dish wasn’t met with much fanfare — and interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen agrees it was a bit bland.

The Changing Rooms star, 58, asks me: ‘Why didn’t they ask the Great British Bake Off team to come up with something?’

However, I’m not sure the royals would want to be associated with a soaked bum.
