EastEnders’ Danny Dyer looked every inch the loving grandfather when he met his daughter Dani’s newborn twins.

Love Island star Dani, 26, welcomed twin girls with her West Ham boyfriend Jarrod on Monday and announced the news in a sweet Instagram post last week.

Danny and Jarrod posed for a glowing photo as they sat next to each other, each with a baby in their crib.

She also shared a photo of her and Jarrod’s mom also posing with the little ones.

It comes after Dani revealed the names of her newborn daughters and the link they have with her first born child, Santiago.

She shared an adorable new photo of her daughters wearing personalized baby clothes and announced they were named Summer and Star, opting for monikers starting with S to match her son Santiago.

She wrote: ‘Summer & Star.. Our first week together and enjoying every moment of the newborn bubble.

“It was great to see santi being a big brother. He has melted my heart in ways I couldn’t imagine and he suddenly feels like such a big boy. My heart feels so full and so excited for our journey together as a family of 5 [sic].’

The arrival of Dani’s babies came just a day after she saw Jarrod score in West Ham United’s last home game of the season, a 3-1 win over Leeds United.

Dani gave the first glimpse of her adorable newborns last week, sharing a photo of the twins in their hospital bed.

While she didn’t reveal their names, Dani revealed that her daughters were born on Monday, captioning the photo: “22.05.23 [heart].’

Jarred shared the same image on his story as he gushed, “The best week of my life.”

The couple’s friends and loved ones were quick to offer their congratulations, with Dani’s famous dad Danny Dyer commenting, “Can’t stop smiling. ❤️❤️’

TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou was quick to write “Beautiful ❤️❤️Can’t wait to meet them,” while Ashley James wrote, “Oh wow congratulations ❤️.”

Just a day before the birth, Dani remained active and supported Jarrod in a game where West Ham won 3-1 against Leeds United.

Dani initially thought she was only pregnant with one child when she found out the news, before being told they were twins during a scan on Nov. 29.

Announcing the news in late January, she wrote on Instagram, “We’ve been keeping a little secret… Our little TWINS ♡ ♡ So excited to meet our babies and see how santi is the best big brother..

“The biggest surprise of our lives, but we feel SO blessed.. our family is getting a lot bigger and we can’t wait.”

The star, who is the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, was inundated with congratulations, including several from her fellow Love Islanders.

Shaughna Phillips wrote, “Omg congratulations my love!!!!! So happy for you,” while Kaz Crossley added, “Wow congratulations beauty.”

Dani has been open with her followers throughout her pregnancy, revealing that she signed herself up for a C-section.

Dani has been in a relationship with Jarrod since 2021, after revealing that he was the one who slipped into her DMs.

She said, ‘It slipped into mine…but I had to give him my number. I can’t do the DMs for days haha ​​x.”

It comes after Dani’s famous EastEnders dad Danny Dyer, 45, revealed the star had returned to the family home before welcoming her twins.

He told Closer, “Dani only has a few months left before she goes into labor and she is doing so well.

“She actually moved back in with us while her new home is being sorted, and it’s been lovely to have her around. I have so much respect for that boy, she’s amazing.’

In February, Danny said he was “over the moon” at the pregnancy news, but said it was “terrifying” at the same time – as he would have “three grandchildren under three.”

In a Q&A on Instagram, she revealed that she had been “crying all the time” as she approached the end of her pregnancy.

Dani admitted that her symptoms were very different from when she was pregnant with her son, Santiago.

She said, ‘I’ve been soooo emotional, I cry all the time! The fatigue has been heavy, but I think it’s due to the low iron levels… and just want to eat spicy food all day!’

The brunette beauty also said her mom will “definitely be around all the time” to help her after she gives birth to her twins.

Dani plans to dress her identical girls the same in the beginning and has already devised a special way to identify them.

She wrote, “I’m going to paint one of their toenails and then write in my notes whose toenail is painted. But maybe they have minor differences that we notice? Not sure but the painted toenail is the answer for me x [sic].

“I’ll definitely dress them the same in the beginning because I love all those pink frilly dresses.

‘But when they start to get a little older, I will dress them differently so that they have their own identity x [sic]’.

The influencer also revealed she was booked in for a planned C-section, said she is getting ready to “pack her hospital bag” in case the twins arrive early.

She said, ‘Yes, we have! Finally I started to feel a bit more settled, there was a point where there were so many boxes around me and I didn’t know where to start. There is still work to be done, but it feels like a home and I love it.

“I’m starting to feel more ready now! The nursery is coming and has started ordering all supplies.

“However, I’m not too crazy about clothes because I’m not sure about the size/how warm our summer will be..

“In 2 weeks I’m going to pack my hospital bag and wash things there in case they decide to come early.”

The reality star had to undergo an emergency c-section when giving birth to Santiago.

She previously said on Instagram, “I’m booked in for a planned c-section. Because I had an emergency C-section before they thought the safer way would be to have the twins delivered via C-section again.

‘Especially because it is identical twins, it is always a bit more risky. I’ve always wanted a vaginal birth, but I knew I had to listen to my consultant.

“As soon as I found out I had to have a c-section, I immediately felt so guilty and worried about the recovery.

“I still want to be able to pick Santi up and run around and do the activities I usually do, but since Santi is still small myself, I can’t really explain why Mom can’t do her usual activities.

“So much is changing, but I still want him to think I can be the best mummy possible.”

Dani found fame in the fourth series of Love Island in 2018, which she won alongside then-boyfriend Jack Fincham.

However, it was not meant to be for the couple as they broke up later that year and Dani later got together with Sammy Kimmence, who she had been in a relationship with prior to Love Island.

Dani welcomed Santiago in January 2021 and divorced Sammy in July of that year after being sentenced to three years in prison for a £34,000 scam.
