Abbie Chatfield reveals she’s been banned from dating apps and not approved on celebrity site Raya: ‘I’ve slept with half the people’
Abbie Chatfield is struggling to find love because she has been banned from all dating apps, and Raya, the celebrity matchmaking site, won’t accept her.
The former Bachelor star, 27, is enjoying a successful career after appearing on season seven of the show in 2019 — she’s getting her own podcast and radio show, becoming a judge on The Masked Singer and set to host Binge’s new reality show, F Boy Island.
However, the media personality said that dating is the hardest part about being in the public eye, and that she has not been lucky in love.
Speaking to the Back To Reality podcast with Love Island’s Al Perkins and Taku Chimwaza, Abbie said the search for love since leaving The Bachelor has been “a nightmare.”
“The biggest change is dating, it’s an absolute nightmare, I’ve been banned from all dating apps because people report I’m fake, so I can’t use any dating apps,” she said.

“And Raya didn’t accept me, I have references and I fucked half the people on Raya, but they are against me.”
Raya’s developers describe it as ‘a private, membership-based, social networking application’.
It is most commonly used as a dating app by celebrities, and those who want to use it must fill out an application form and have references from other people who are already on the site.

Abbie said dating is extra hard for her now because she can’t have any privacy when it comes to her love life.
“Dating is really hard, I’ve cried about this before,” she said.
“My options are either dating someone who isn’t in the media at all, a normal person, and they have to make the decision to be in my world, be written about, speculated about, and seen and photos with me to make. taken public.
“And that’s not fun for them. They’re getting the worst parts of this without the fun parts.”

The radio host said her other option is to date a famous person, but she has done that in the past and they couldn’t leave the house together.
‘Or [I could date] someone who is in the public eye and we can’t leave the house,” she said.
“I was dating someone and he was very public and I went to his house and I told him, ‘We’ve never been out of the house.’
“We couldn’t even go to the supermarket, it wasn’t worth the stress because if we were seen together we would have to say what we are and that’s exhausting.”
