Heartbreak as Woolworths employee dies young in tragic circumstances: Tributes pour in from her colleagues: ‘She was loyal, caring and bubbly’

Family and friends pay tribute to a Bundaberg teenager who died after a horrific crash in Queensland.

Illiana Palella, 17, was killed on Tuesday after a collision between an armored vehicle and a car near Childers.

She was flown to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital from the crash site but did not survive her injuries.

A fundraiser has been launched to support her to help the victim’s family.

Her boyfriend, Mackenzie Blackburn, described Ms Palella as a ‘beautiful friend of many’.

“Whether it was her coworkers, friends, or strangers, everyone knew she could put a smile on anyone’s face,” she said.

Mrs Blackburn met Mrs Palella at work at the Woolworths Hinkler Centre.

“She comes from a hard-working, caring and supportive family who stood by her in everything.”

“Whether it was her coworkers, friends, or strangers, everyone knew she could put a smile on anyone’s face,” she said.

Jaime Shipp also paid tribute to her boyfriend on social media.

“I’m going to miss you so much, I can’t believe you (sic) aren’t coming home, rest in peace my beautiful girl,” Ms Shipp wrote in a Facebook post.

Another friend said she was “loyal, caring and bubbly.”

Riylee Sutton remembered Mrs Palella as a ‘shy, sweet girl’.

‘She was adventurous. She would never leave your side and was loyal, caring and bubbly,’ Mrs Sutton said.

A Woolworths Hinkler spokesperson said they had arranged counseling for Ms Palella’s friends and colleagues.
