Brighton starlet Julio Enciso scores superb equaliser against Manchester City

Julio Enciso scored a superb equalizer for Brighton at home to Manchester City, with Jamie Redknapp describing the goal as ‘Ronaldo-esque’.

After Phil Foden gave City the lead, Brighton leveled in the 38th minute with a brilliant goal from Enciso.

The hugely talented youngster went in front of goal from 25 yards out and managed to find the top corner, leading Redknapp to compare the attack to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Enciso has made a big impression in his first season in the Premier League and has now scored four goals in the division. His goal against Chelsea also came from quite a distance.

“That’s why it’s so important to have a goalkeeper who can play from behind,” Redknapp told Sky Sports. That’s Ronaldo-esque, it’s such a great attack, it’s just such a good attack I’ve seen in the Premier League for so long. The keeper misses it at five meters, what technique.’
