Chelcee Grimes says she is ‘obsessed with someone’ as she reveals current relationship status

Chelsee Grimes has spoken out about her current relationship status when she admitted on Instagram on Wednesday that she is “obsessed” with someone.

The footballer and singer, 31, previously dated Love Island star Megan Barton Hanson in 2020 and more recently has been linked to Christine McGuinness.

During a Q&A, Chelsee was asked if she wanted a girlfriend to which she responded with a radiant selfie.

She said: ‘I’m already obsessed with someone who makes me smile.’

The beauty also revealed that she has been turning down a lot of TV work lately to keep her life stress free.

She wrote: ‘Been non stop this year. But when I relax it’s Fifa, Nintendo Switch, walking my dog, sleeping, enjoying a book and it’s usually just one day a week or every 2 weeks.

But I’ve also said “no” to a lot of jobs/TV shows that you’d probably think I’m crazy for turning down. But I have a good balance between not getting lost in the sauce and knowing it’s just WORK.’

Chelcee, who said she doesn’t like drugs, added: ‘My real life and mental health are WAY more important than anything in terms of work. So I give my free time a lot more priority now than before.’

Chelcee recently filmed a CBBC show about kids being interested in music, but when asked if she wanted kids, she posted a picture of her dog.

She wrote, “Firstly, I have a child and secondly, I have always wanted a career rather than a family. That’s what I’ve accomplished and now I’m in a position to think clearly about whether I want kids or not, I’ve never been one to die for kids and I’m still not there.

“Who knows what the future holds (I’ve been told since I was 21) it will happen when you get older.

‘I’m older and guess what?! I still don’t. So who 2 knows that I don’t know what the future holds, I’m forever changing my mind about life in general and about myself… time will tell…’

Previously, Chelcee was spotted getting close to Christine following her split from husband of 11 years Paddy last year.

The two became close friends after starring alongside each other on the ITV show The Games, and soon after headed to Croatia for a girls’ holiday.

The duo were later seen kissing before walking arm in arm during a cozy trip to Winter Wonderland last December.

They have subsequently been seen together on days out at a spa and recently excitedly hugged each other in Liverpool at a club night over a bank holiday weekend in May.

Christine told her fans earlier this week that she was going offline for a while to catch up on life.
