Taylor Swift looks shocked as her “possessed” piano starts playing by itself

A recent performance on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour this week took a spooky turn when her “possessed” piano started playing on its own during Sunday’s show.

The pop princess, 33, looked particularly shocked when her keyboard started playing during Red (Taylor’s Version) as she shouted to the audience, “I didn’t play that!”

As the piano continued to make noises, Taylor covered her face in horror, wondering if it was only her who heard it, asking fans, “Oh my god, can you hear that?” Does that happen to you too?’

Despite the freaky interlude in the show, there was a reasonable explanation for the “haunted” self-playing piano, as Taylor went on to explain.

Taylor played a full three and a half hour show earlier this week at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts in the pouring rain.

OMG! A recent performance on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour this week took a spooky turn when her “possessed” piano started playing on its own during Sunday’s show

Taylor, who was recently revealed to be dating singer Matty Healy from 1975, then told fans, “Okay, I’m just gonna do one more song on guitar, that’s insane.”

She then explained that the piano will have malfunctioned due to water damage from the rain.

Referring to the downpour, she said, “What happened is, long story short, I get to my acoustic set, you know when you’ve been in the bath too long and your fingers are so pruned, like I looked at my fingers trying to play the guitar, and it was like being in a bath with lukewarm water for 2.5 hours,’

“Another thing that happened is that [the water] obviously broke my keyboard because [the keyboard] was literally under water, so this is broken.’

“I didn’t know how any of the instruments worked last night. So this is broken, I’m just going to get the guitar. It will be alright.’

After the Sunday show, Taylor wrote on Twitter, “We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before, but this was a deluge that never stopped, I just want to thank that iconic audience.”

A few days after that show, Taylor canceled four shows for the first time in her career because she developed bronchitis.

And while Taylor seems to have made a full recovery, it seems her keyboard hasn’t.

Taylor completed Sunday’s show with no further problems due to the ‘deluge’ of rain, much to the delight of her fans.

Hitmaker Lover showed her commitment to her tour during the first “rain show” when the rain didn’t stop during one of her Nashville dates.

Taylor took the stage two hours late, starting her performance at 10 p.m. and playing until 1:30 a.m.

After Saturday’s show, a Taylor fan put up containers of rainwater from the gig for sale, weeks after another tried to sell used contacts for $10,000.

A fan decided to make the most of the rainy occasion and collected a small amount of the stadium’s seemingly collectible rainwater.

On Sunday, a photo was shared on Only In Boston’s Instagram account showing the containers of water, which sold for a total of $250.

Several of Taylor’s fans took to the comment section of the post to inquire where the rainwater had collected in the venue.

Another wrote that they recognized the packaging of the product, writing “I recognize a weed container when I see one lol.”

One Instagram user commented that they were happy to see “the stoners and the swifts unite.”

One of the new avenues in showing their love for the superstar singer-songwriter.

Earlier on Wednesday, fans discovered a listing on clothing retail site Depop in which the user listed a pair of dried-up disposable contacts with a misleading connection to Swift and a whopping $10,000 price tag.

The user described the gross items as “contacts who have seen the Taylor Swift eras” [sic].’

They were accurately described as ‘Used’, the potential buyers could have quibbled over whether the wrinkled contacts were really in ‘excellent’ condition.

After the listing was removed, the user clarified on his profile page, “LMAO IT WAS A JOKE.”
