Ron DeSantis will announce his candidacy for president tomorrow night on Twitter in a conversation with Elon Musk after months of speculation.

Sources confirmed to DailyMail.com that Florida Governor, 44, will hold a Twitter Spaces with the CEO on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The much-anticipated start of the Republican campaign in the White House will be moderated by David Sacks, a tech entrepreneur.

DeSantis’ campaign will then release a campaign video, and he is expected to tour the states early in the primary process after Memorial Day.

Former President Donald Trump has led DeSantis in nearly all national polls in recent months.

In some states, he has a two-digit lead over DeSantis.
