Jessica Simpson, 42, proves she is still a Hollywood pinup as she poses in a tiger print dress

Jessica Simpson shared a beautiful photo on Instagram on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old fashion designer was seen in a new summer dress from the Jessica Simpson collection with a very high slit, showing off her toned leg.

The long dress featured a mustard yellow and maroon tiger print and came in at the waist to show off her slim figure.

Her long white blonde hair was worn over her shoulders as she was in an outdoor setting at a cabana, which she was also seen in last week.

The Jessica Simpson Collection is a fashion line of clothing and other items for women and juniors.

In addition to clothing, the brand also includes accessories, shoes, perfume and luggage.

The brand was first launched in 2005 as a footwear collaboration with Nine West co-founder Vince Camuto. Due to the success that followed, Simpson began adding, resulting in the brand’s current 22 different licenses.

The collection made $750 million in 2010, making it the top-selling celebrity apparel empire.

Jessica married former NFL player Eric Johnson in 2014.

The couple have three children: daughter Maxwell, 11; son Ace, nine; and daughter Birdie, four.

The former reality star admitted in 2019 that she lost 100 pounds nearly six months after giving birth to her third daughter, Birdie.

She followed a nutrition plan and walked 14,000 steps a day with help from celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, and has since shared gym updates on her weight loss over the years.

‘6 months. Down 100 pounds (yes, I tipped the scale at 240),’ she wrote on Instagram as she revealed her weight loss.

My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder.’

told Harley E! News at the time, “It had to be more than just coming back from her baby weight, but how do I keep what I’m doing now forever.” That’s why we’re not big fans of extreme diets or radical forms of exercise.’

Simpson told Hoda Kotb during an appearance on the Today show in 2021 that she never weighs herself again, doesn’t have a scale and follows her intuition with how she feels when choosing her clothes.

“I have no idea how much I weigh,” she said. “Like, I just want to feel good and be able to zip up my pants. Otherwise I have a different size. I have every size.’

In September 2022, Simpson said she would like to “monetize” the chatter around her fluctuating weight.

The star acknowledges that her weight has been the subject of speculation for years, and that it was actually one of the reasons she decided to launch her own fashion line, The Jessica Simpson Collection.

The singer told Extra, “I decided, ‘Okay, everybody’s going to talk about my weight all the time. I might as well make money off it and make it a business of selling clothes and making it into acceptance.'”

In contrast, in 2021, Jessica admitted to being hurt by the scrutiny she faced. The blonde beauty felt there was an intense focus on her looks and her weight when she was younger.

She explained, “There’s a great movement for body positivity right now, and the response to that part of my story has been overwhelmingly supportive.”

The debate over her weight left Jessica concerned about her appearance.

However, she has since learned to love her body. Jessica – who made her film debut in 2005 as Daisy Duke in ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ – said: ‘I beat myself up for years because of an unrealistic body standard that made me feel like a failure all the time.

“I’m still a work in progress when it comes to self-criticism, but now I have the tools to quiet those voices in my head when they speak up. I believe in my heart that a healthy body and a healthy mind-body connection are really important and help me accept imperfections as beauty.”
