Dominic Calvert-Lewin ‘set to miss relegation-threatened Everton’s season finale with Bournemouth’

Everton are increasingly resigned to being without star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in their game against Bournemouth, the reports say.

The relegation-threatened Toffees know only a win will guarantee their Premier League status in Sunday’s season finale – a draw or defeat at Goodison Park could mean they drop to the Championship depending on the results of Leicester City and Leeds United .

Everton are two points above the drop zone thanks to Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Wolves, although the result came at the cost of another Calvert-Lewin injury – this time a hamstring injury.

And according the Telegraphfears are growing among the Merseyside team that he will be absent against the Cherries on Sunday.

Sean Dyche’s side are giving the England international every chance of an improbable recovery, but in reality he feels he will be sidelined for five weeks.
