Victoria’s Secret model shares clips of dying grandma as she prepares to be EUTHANIZED

A Texas model who made history as the first curvier person to work for Victoria’s Secret has documented her grandmother’s decision to take her own life on social media.

Ali Tate Cutler has shared a series of Instagram posts and TikToks with her grandmother, whom she calls Bubbie, who is suffering from terminal cancer.

Tate Cutler visited her in Canada, where euthanasia is legal, and asked her a series of questions about her decision.

It’s not clear when she plans to take her own life, but on Friday, Tate Cutler posted a TikTok in which she cried and said she was afraid to say goodbye at the airport the next day.

Earlier this week, she shared a video on Instagram of the two getting ready for their last dinner at a restaurant.

“My grandmother opted for euthanasia because of her terminal diagnosis, so this is the last time I can take her out to dinner,” said Tate Cutler.

Tate Cutler’s grandmother said she was calm and peaceful and saw her death as “light at the end of the tunnel”

In another video, Tate Cutler posted a long conversation with her grandmother where they discussed euthanasia.

“What are your thoughts if you want to get closer to the date?” she asked.

Her grandmother replied, “It’s like the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Tate Cutler asked her what kind of questions they ask before someone signs up for the procedure.

“Your diagnosis is if it is fatal, how many months do you have; they give you time to think,” she explained.

“They emphasize again and again that you can always change your mind.”

The grandmother described the injections she would receive and said she was glad her death would take place in a hospital rather than at home.

‘I came in quietly; I’d like to go out quietly,’ she said.

Tate Cutler asked her grandmother if she was nervous or excited; her grandmother said she was “looking forward to just bringing it in, being dependent, not being in control.”

Bubbie didn’t specify when it would take place.

“It’s just going to happen when it happens,” she said.

“When I’m ready, I’ll know. I have always made my own decisions for myself.

‘In life I trust; I will in death.’

For the first time, Bubbie’s eyes welled up as she said, “I do believe my husband is there saying, It’s about time.

And I’ll say, ‘Hello, Arn. I’m here.’ That is it.’

Canada has allowed assisted suicide since 2016, under a program called Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).

The program has sparked controversy over claims that it is too permissive. In December, a disabled army veteran who is also a former Paralympian told how she was offered euthanasia as an alternative to a stairlift at her home.

From March 2023, Canada’s eligibility for medical assisted suicide will be expanded even further, allowing people who do not have a physical condition to receive one. They must get approval from two doctors and wait 90 days between the application and the time of death

Christine Gaulthier – who says she’s perfectly happy with her life – was outraged by the bizarre proposed alternative when she complained that the mobility gadget was taking too long to install.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called Gaulthier’s ordeal “completely unacceptable.”

And in December, Amir Farsoud, 54, said he would consider euthanasia after being told he would be evicted from his home. He said suicide was a more attractive option than living on the streets.

Farsoud reconsidered after a fundraising campaign helped him find a new place to live.

The number of people choosing to use MAiD has skyrocketed from around 1,000 when it was introduced in 2016 to around 10,000 in 2021.

Those who wish to qualify no longer need to be terminally ill, but people with long-term disabilities or even mental illness are also eligible.

Proponents say the law is an essential means of enabling people with terminal illnesses to end their lives in a dignified manner without suffering unnecessary pain.

But critics fear the system is too permissive and worry that many of those who choose to end their lives could remain happy and fulfilled if they were given access to adequate care.

In the United States, it is legal in 10 states or districts: Oregon, Washington DC, Hawaii, Washington, Maine, Colorado, New Jersey, California, and Vermont.

In Europe, euthanasia is legal in five countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and Spain.

France and Portugal are currently debating the issue.

Assisted suicide, where someone is given the means to end their own life, has been legal in Switzerland since 1942, but active euthanasia is not allowed.
