A cat owner was shocked when she videotaped the moment when her one-year-old cat stole her fake eyelashes straight from her eye and ran off.
Veronica Scheier, an influencer with more than 860,000 TikTok followers, told Newsweek that she had to “chase him to get my lashes,” adding that she “could tell he wasn’t happy that I cut his play time.”
While Scheier was showing off her falsities, her cat Odie jumped into the frame to rip her eyelash from her face and run away.
The 21-year-old said Odie is a “playful, energetic cat.”

While Scheier was showing off her falsities, her cat Odie came into view to rip her eyelash from her face and run away.
āHe likes to play with things like toes, my long hair and – of course – my eyelashes. However, he has never ripped them off and run with them like he did in this video,ā she noted.
Odie’s owner said the cat lost one eye as a kitten and is partially blind in his remaining eye, so he often uses his paws and mouth to sense the world around him.
Scheier’s video has been viewed more than 1.7 million times on TikTok and has received more than 1,200 comments.
The influencer captioned the seven-second clip: “I literally can’t believe I got him to do this on video.”
She went on to joke, “The way he ran off like the little thieving rat he is???”
One commenter wrote: “He legitimately said, ‘No, of course you look better.'”
While another asked, “How does he know it’s not your real eyelashes?”
