The English actress further enhanced the stylish look with a white fedora hat – and carried a white scarf and sunglasses in her hands.

Joan wore dainty white jewelry for her morning look with a silver necklace, heart ring and statement pearl earrings.

She accentuated her natural beauty with a beautiful makeup palette, including a rouge lipstick.

The author kept her brown locks in a low ponytail under her stylish fedora hat.

Meanwhile, Percy looked dapper in a blue shirt and gray pants.

The duo appeared in good spirits as they walked to the car and smiled for the cameras before taking off.

Percy, Joan’s surviving husband, is more than 30 years her junior, a gap she dismisses in interviews with the line, “If he dies, he dies.”

The long-standing couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary last year with a star-studded party at Claridge’s.

Originally from Peru, Percy is a well-known Hollywood producer, best known for producing Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

However, now Joan has found the right man and even joked to Jonathan Ross in 2020 that her marriage to Percy had lasted as long as the previous four marriages combined.

It comes after she shared a group photo from her “fabulous” coronation party last weekend, celebrating with a host of famous faces.

Earlier this month, the actress took to Instagram to share the photo as they all enjoyed dinner at the Wolseley with her husband Percy and friends.

Joan was joined by Christopher Biggins, former actress Yvonne Romain, entrepreneur Ivan Massow, Theo and Louise Fennell, and journalist Andrew Neil.

They all looked like they were having a good time as they wore crowns to mark the day King Charles III was officially crowned.

Joan wrote in the caption to her post, ‘Our very own fabulous #coronation #celebration at the Wolseley with a host of #greatfriends @biggins.christopher @oneneilsin @ivanmassow @fennelltheo @louise.fennell @hazelcollins8000 @alisonpapworth Andrew Pierce, Russell Tanguay, Evie Bricusse, #brother Bill and @alexsilverpr.’

It comes after Dame Joan performed a brutal impersonation of King Charles and teased details of his alleged comments about her ahead of his coronation.

Speaking to Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard on Good Morning Britain, she revealed: ‘I had met him a few times. In fact, he wrote about me in his book – I can’t say what it is on morning TV because it’s a bit naughty.’

She seemed to allude to the claims in Christopher Anderson’s book The King: The Life of Charles III, that the monarch once wrote in a letter that Dame Joan had “unbelievable cleavage… all erect and presented as if on a tray.”

Joan also talked about when Charles gave her a Damehood and said how charming he was when she discussed the 2015 ceremony.

The star then mimicked his voice, adding, “He’s got such a deep voice. He said ‘and it was about time.’

The legendary actress, who played a part in the coronation festivities, revealed that she has met Charles a few times.

The Lady then shared her own hopes for Coronation Day, saying: “I hope we all have a great time and it doesn’t rain.”

As the royal discussion continued, Ben asked Joan if she thought Charles could have followed in her acting footsteps.

Joan replied, “I think he could have. He certainly has the looks for it and let’s face it, the royals certainly have to act a lot.’

The movie star has been busy with other aspects of her life and spoke to Kate and Ben about writing her memoir which she will release in 2022.

She admitted it had been a really fun project to do as she looks back on her eventful life.

Dame Joan said: ‘It was hilarious combing my memory for funny things that happened.

“I was talking to Biggins the other day and he reminded me of that time we were stuck on an island in Corfu with Stella and no water.”
