Dominic West and his wife Catherine FitzGerald attended the Chelsea Flower Show at London’s Royal Hospital on Monday.

The actor, 53, and the landscape designer, 52, put on a much-loved display at the open-air event just two and a half years after their relationship was rocked by scandal.

Dominic was typically smart in a tailored blue suit, which he paired with a light blue checkered shirt with an open collar.

Catherine turned heads in a jazzy floral-embroidered cardigan and black knee-length dress, worn with tan ankle boots.

Their marriage was hanging by a thread as Dominic was pictured kissing actress Lily James, 34, during a vacation to Rome, Italy in October 2020.

Dominic surprised onlookers in 2020 when he was pictured passionately kissing actress Lily James during a romantic, mid-pandemic break in Rome shortly after international travel restrictions were lifted.

The duo didn’t seem to mind who saw them as they huddled together and shared a ride on a scooter while enjoying the view all day long.

The Crown star was still married to Catherine and no public breakup had been announced – but he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring.

After the photos of Dominic and Lily emerged, the actor gave the waiting reporters a surprising wooden performance as they gathered outside the sprawling Cotswolds home he shares with his wife Catherine and their children.

The shocked mother of four had a tissue in her hand as she gingerly stepped out of the marital home in Chippenham, Wiltshire with her husband by her side, her ring finger in the pocket of her jeans.

The couple bizarrely decided to show a piece of paper with the handwritten message: ‘Our marriage is strong and we are still together. Thank you.’

Catherine later broke her silence to assure MailOnline that their marriage was safe, telling reporters, “I’m fine, thank you very much, yes we are.” We’re fine. We don’t need anyone’s advice, thank you.’

Dominic and Catherine confirmed during a red carpet appearance for The Crown series five in November 2022 that their relationship was back on track after two years of uncertainty as they posed side by side with their family at the event.

The couple married in June 2010 after reuniting after their college romance and have four children together; Dora, 17, Senan, 15, Francis, 14, and Christabel, 11.

The actor also has another daughter Martha, 25, with ex-girlfriend, aristocrat, Polly Astor, 51.
