The band are currently in the midst of their Wild Dreams tour, coming to a range of venues across the UK this summer.
However, Mark revealed that there are five shows he will be absent from as he recovers from the surgery.

Oh no! Westlife star Mark Feehily has been forced to forego the summer shows due to surgery in the coming weeks
“We have five shows from May to July this summer.
“And it is with great regret that I cannot join Shane, Kian and Nicky on stage for those shows.”
Mark explains, “This week I have to have minor surgery.
“There’s nothing to worry about, I promise, but on doctor’s orders this surgery needs to be done sooner rather than later and will also take some recovery time over the summer.”
“To all our amazing fans in Denmark, Sweden, Mexico, Cardiff and Henley: I want you to know I was really excited to see you all and perform but this is something that can’t be avoided and I know that you all still have the time of your life at what will be great shows!
“I will be there with you all in my thoughts and very much looking forward to getting back on stage with the guys soon!
‘Much love to you all and keep in touch – I’ll still be there to say hello. YOU WILL BE MISSED’
