Jets’ Sauce Gardner gets custom Jessica Alba cleats after not knowing the actress
Jets star Sauce Gardner is gifted some custom Jessica Alba cleats for the new NFL season…just days after Aaron Rodgers was left stunned when he failed to recognize the Hollywood icon while courting the Knicks
Sauce Gardner is gifted with a pair of custom cleats with Jessica Alba’s face on them after it was revealed that the Jets cornerback didn’t know who the actress was prior to a Knicks game meeting.
Gardner received the shoes this week from New Jersey-based artist Mike Jordan, who works with the NFL and MLB, just a few weeks after attending Game 2 of the Heat-Knicks playoff series with “chaperon” Aaron Rodgers at 2 May.
Two days after the outing, Gardner admitted that she didn’t know who Alba was when she sat next to him on court.
In fact, Rodgers, who is 17 years older than Gardner, made fun of the 22-year-old all night long.
“My husband @saucegardner didn’t ask for this, but it had to be done,” Jordan captioned a photo of the custom Alba cleats on Instagram, mocking the Jets’ No. 1.

“To new friendships!”
On one of the boots, Jordan depicted Alba from the movie “Honey.” On the other hand, it shows the blonde-haired actress in perhaps a more familiar role to many: her appearance in the “Fantastic Four” movies as Susan Storm.
Jordan says it took him quite some time to adjust the Nike Vapor spikes and he delivered them to the Jets facility before Sauce on Tuesday.

“I wanted to do something fun,” the artist told TMZ. “I hope Jessica likes them too.”
Following their meeting at Madison Square Garden earlier this month, Alba responded to a tweet from the NFL with a Jets press conference in which Gardner is being roasted by reporters for not being familiar with who the actress is.
“@AaronRodgers12 couldn’t believe @iamSauceGardner didn’t know who @jessicalaba was,” the league’s official Twitter account shared.
‘Lol – I totally understand how this boy Sauce got his name, he said to my girl @ElizabethMxo ‘How can I get caught up when I’m the catch’. But in fairness he was actually very polite to his eldest @AaronRodgers12 and everyone else in the room.
“It was nice meeting you @iamSauceGardner – Honey and Storm.”
