People blown away by how much Jack Black’s son looks like him

Jack Black fans are shocked by how much his son looks like a younger version of him.

The two walked down the street in Los Angeles together earlier this month.

The School of Rock star and his 17-year-old son Samuel sported the same tousled curly hair and nearly identical features (although Jack’s was hidden by a much fuller beard).

One fan commented that “Jack Black traveled through time and brought his younger self here or vice versa.”

Another suggested, “Jack Black and his clone like it better.”

And another said they were “the spitting image” of each other, so much so that they “couldn’t tell who was what for a moment.”

Samuel’s mother is Tanya Haden, Black’s wife since 2006, a successful singer and cellist.

The couple share another son, Thomas, who is two years younger than Samuel.

While Samuel is still finishing school, he has already put some notable credits on his resume, including voicing a small role, a rabbit, in Kung Fu Panda 3 in 2016, in which his father reprized his lead role.

Samuel also contributes to his father’s YouTube channel Jablinski Games, dedicated to gaming.

Black has appeared in numerous high-profile comedic roles, including Jumanji

Actor and musician Black, 53, co-starred in High Fidelity in 2000, which led to numerous high-profile Hollywood roles like Gulliver’s Travels and Shallow Hal.

However, he became a household name for portraying the renegade teacher in School of Rock, leading a bunch of misfit teens into a battle of the bands.

He received critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination in the Best Actor category for the role.

Black also played the role of the children’s cartoon character Kung Fu Panda alongside Dustin Hoffman.

In addition to his acting work, Black is the lead singer of the rock band Tenacious D, which he founded with longtime friend Kyle Gass.
