Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are forced to sit APART at the Cannes Film Festival
Thursday night was all about Harrison Ford, but finding a suitable seat at the premiere of his own movie was even harder to find than the Lost Ark.
The veteran actor was joined by his wife Calista Flockhart, better known for her former role as wacky TV lawyer Ally McBeal, as Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny ushered in the third day of the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival.
It was a rare public appearance for a couple known for their love of privacy, but it was marred by an awkward seating arrangement at the Palais des Festivals, which screened the 80-year-old Ford’s fifth and final offering as Indy.
As they went inside, 58-year-old Flockhart immediately noticed she was behind her husband, prompting a weak smile as she told the mistake to a stony-faced Ford — who could be heard muttering “Oh!”
Ford has reprized his role as Indiana Jones for the last time, having first taken on the iconic character in 1984’s Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

Harrison made a rare red carpet appearance with his wife and cut a fine figure as he arrived for the premiere of the latest Indiana Jones film, the first since 2008.
His wife Calista created a glamorous figure in a plunging black tulle dress as she arrived hand in hand with the actor.
As the couple stopped to pose for snaps together, Calista beamed at her man, leading a slew of stars in attendance at the premiere.

Jones is said to be “worried” about the US government enlisting former Nazis in their race to beat the Russians to the moon.
Franchise newcomer Phoebe Waller-Bridge joins the sequel as Helena Shaw, Indy’s goddaughter, along with Mads Mikkelsen as Jurgen Voller, an ex-Nazi now working for NASA.
Other newcomers include Antonio Banderas as Indy’s friend Renaldo, Thomas Kretschmann as Colonel Weber, Toby Jones as Basil Shaw, and Boyd Holbrook as Klaber.
Phoebe plays Indiana Jones’ goddaughter Helena Shaw in the film, with filmmakers describing the character as “smooth” and “charming.”
“She’s a mystery and a wonder,” Phoebe, who also stars in the film alongside Antonio Banderas, told Empire about her character.

“If the script said throw yourself on the back of a vehicle, I threw myself on the back of a vehicle!”
The upcoming action movie will be released on June 30 and will be the last Indiana Jones movie.
