Gemimik Shrine solution in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Gemimik Shrine is a shrine within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Akkala Highlands region.

Our guide will help you find the location of the Gemimik Shrine, solve the puzzles and navigate the “Turbine Power” puzzle to collect the chest and Light of blessing.

Gemimik shrine location

The Gemimik Shrine is located in the Akkala Highlands region, immediately east of East Akkala Plains, in the center of the spiral jetty of the Rist Peninsula. The exact location is (4513, 2116, 0001).

Gemimik Shrine puzzle solution

The Gemimik Shrine’Turbine powertrial requires the use of the Ultra convenient ability to solve a single room puzzle.

1. As you enter the main room you will see an unpowered turbine in the center, a yellow colored power generator on the left and a large metal plate on the floor in the far left corner. Using Ultra convenient, take the metal plate and use it to complete the circuit from the power generator to the turbine. (You’ll see the metal plate begin to conduct electricity if you’ve aligned it properly.)

2. With the turbine on, go to the right of the room, where there is a rotor fan on the floor. Using Ultra convenient, take the fan and attach it to the turbine. The spinning fan will create a column of wind that shoots up.

3. Climb the stairs to the right of the spinning fan and jump on the gust of wind, using Link’s paraglider to launch him up. In the very top right corner of the room is a platform with a chest that you can reach by paragliding up to it. That box contains one Mighty Zonaite shield.

4. From that platform, jump back in the direction of the gust of wind and slide to the back left corner of the room, where three Zonai flamethrowers rest on a raised platform. Watch out, one of those Zonai flamethrowers is already spouting fire!

5. Use Ultra convenient, grab one of the flamethrowers and drop it on the floor of the room. When you use it, you need to light eight torches around the spinning turbine. The easiest way to do this is to turn on the flame emitter (by hitting it with a melee weapon) and attach it to the top of the spinning turbine mechanism. This will create a whirlwind of flames that will instantly ignite all eight flares, solving the “Turbine Power” puzzle.

6. After the gate is unlocked, go to the next room and interact with the sigil to complete the Gemimik shrine and get your Light of blessing.
