Sylvester Stallone says his show The Family Stallone is more ‘authentic’ than the Kardashians
Sylvester Stallone talked about his family’s new reality show premiering this week.
In an interview published Monday, the actor, 76 Entertainment tonight that for The Family Stallone, their focus is on being “authentic” and not copying the format of the Kardashians’ long-running series.
The Rocky star – who went ‘full rambo’ and threatened to destroy his house after his daughter fooled him by pretending to be pregnant in their show – and his family also talked about putting their lives on full display for the world to see.
The patriarch also revealed that his unscripted show will see fans helping his daughters navigate their romantic lives and deal with breakups.
The upcoming show centers on the Rambo vet and his wife of nearly three decades, Jennifer Flavin, 54, as well as their three daughters — Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.

On comparisons to the Kardashians, his daughter Sixtine said, “They did such a great job. It works for them and there’s no point in copying them.’
Sly agreed, claiming that they are focused on authenticity instead.
“Because that’s what we are,” he told the publication.
The filmmaker also talked about venturing into reality TV for the first time after a long career on the silver screen.
“It would be great to share this fame with a reality show while still being relevant,” he explained.
‘I love my daughters; I love my wife; and I wanted to share that,” he continued. “It’s something I think is entertaining.”
The family also clarified that their show will be more of a docuseries than a reality series.
And in The Family Stallone, they intend to be completely vulnerable and honest when they put their lives on display for the cameras.

Jennifer also revealed that no part of their show is being performed, “I didn’t want it set up.
“I didn’t want it to be, ‘Oh, we all get drunk and we all have fits and we yell at each other,'” she said. “I wanted to show people real things that happen.”
One of those “real life things” is the patriarch helping his daughters breakup — or something he called the “tarantula moment.”
His eldest daughter, Sophia, talked about how involved the New York resident is in their relationships.
“He actually gives us all the best dating advice,” she revealed.
Jennifer added, “He actually writes their breakup lyrics.”
To which Sly simply replied, “Guilty. I am a good writer.
“He always wants to end with, ‘Keep hitting,'” Sixtine shared. “I removed that part, but everything else is so good.”

Or they’re trying to make it right [him] or be him, for they are in love with him,’ Sophia added.
“Nobody’s good enough,” Sly replied.
“I think we all have such great personalities,” he said. “We are very loud and funny.
“We’re from love,” he continued, before adding that he “definitely” sees their show continue for “a few seasons.”
The debut episode of The Family Stallone premieres May 17 on Paramount+.
