Megan Fox opened up during an interview with Sports illustrated for the 2023 swimsuit edition.

The 36-year-old actress told the media outlet that she had never felt good about her own image and that she was constantly trying to feel better about herself.

The Transformers cast member, who is working on rekindling her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, started the sit-down by saying, “I have body dysmorphia. I never see myself the way other people see me.’

Fox went on to say that she never felt confident when she looked in the mirror.

“There was never a point in my life where I loved my body,” the actress said. ‘Never.’

The New Girl cast member also told the media that her body dysmorphia had started at a young age.

She recalled that “when I was little it was an obsession I had of, ‘Should I look like this?'”

Fox added that “it was definitely not environmentally friendly because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even acknowledged.”

The artist concluded by saying that she would probably continue to worry about her physique well into the future.

The actress stated, “The journey of loving myself will never end, I think.”

Fox previously opened up about coping with body dysmorphia during an interview with British GQ style which will be published in 2021.

During the sit-down with the media outlet, the Jennifer’s Body star noted that she was dealing with “a lot of deep insecurities” regarding her image.

The actress went on to say that she felt that beauty did not equal confidence.

She said, “We can look at someone and think, ‘That person is so beautiful. Their life must be so easy.'”

Machine Gun Kelly was also interviewed and said his partner’s openness about her body image issues had also proven beneficial to him.

The rapper, born Colson Baker, stated that his fiancé “helped me realize that you can’t bury your trauma.”

In January last year, the artists announced their engagement to the public.
