Moana Hope breaks her silence over her breakup with model Isabella Carlstrom – after her ex-wife confirmed the couple ‘intentionally broke up’

AFLW star Moana Hope has broken her silence over her split from her model wife, Isabella Carlstrom.

Moana, 35, released a statement on her Instagram stories on Monday, after Isabella confirmed they were following in Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s footsteps by “consciously uncoupling.”

Bell and I broke up. I understand that I live a public life and people may have questions, and while I live my life candidly, my number one priority right now is our beautiful children and I ask that you respect my privacy,” Moana said in a statement.

She added, “We will continue to co-parent as we transition into this new phase of our lives. I appreciate all the love and support I’ve received.”

Isabella confirmed their heartbreaking split in a statement shared on her socials Monday morning.

“It is with a heavy heart that Mo and I have decided to separate. We will continue to raise beautiful children together while consciously uncoupling. We appreciate all the love and support over the years, thank you,” she wrote in her statement.

“Consciously uncoupling” refers to an “amicable split” and was popularized by Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2014 when they announced their shock split.

Meanwhile, after the split, Moana has thrown herself into a very good cause.

Bell and I are divorced. I understand that I live a public life and people may have questions, and while I live my life with candor, my main priority right now is our beautiful children and I ask that you respect my privacy,

The mother-of-two is an ambassador for Cocobella and took part in the Mother’s Day Classic Fun Run at the Alexandra Gardens this weekend, in honor of her breast cancer survivor mother-in-law.

“My mother-in-law, Belle’s mother, she’s a breast cancer survivor and someone I admire and love dearly, so to know I have someone close to me who’s affected who I can possibly run for means more than you can imagine propose,” Hope said The Herald Sun.

The Survivor star pushed her son Ahi, 10 months, in the pram during the run.
