Newcastle United are reportedly eyeing RB Leipzig midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai after his impressive season.

The Hungarian international has scored 18 goals in 88 appearances for the Bundesliga club over the past two seasons.

Leipzig struck twice late in the game and took a 2-1 victory at Werder Bremen on Sunday. Szoboszlai tapped in the winner.

“I’m definitely three more games at RB Leipzig,” said Szoboszlai.

“I would like to play in the Champions League and win my second prize with RB Leipzig. We’ll see what happens after the summer.’

He also corrected a reporter who said he was staying with Leipzig. “I didn’t say that,” Szoboszlai remarked.

Playing under Leipzig manager Marco Rose at Red Bull Salzburg, Szoboszlai is a smart maker on the right wing.
