Lesbian couple left ‘burnt out’ by NHS ambulance job quit for OnlyFans
A couple burnt out by their demanding jobs in the NHS have quit their jobs and turned to creating playful OnlyFans content.
Kayley Winterson, 26, and Emily Rose, 28, from Norfolk, claim they are a ‘million times happier’ now. In addition, the duo rakes in four times what they earned as emergency medical responders (EMTs) in the 999 service.
The couple describe their content as “what we did before anyway – but just set up a camera with good lighting.”
Miss Winterson and Miss Rose claimed that the exhausting demands of the frontline, enduring 15-hour shifts, “destroyed” their mental health.
Miss Winterson first set up an OnlyFans account in March 2021 after leaving the NHS in January. She was frustrated with her £11/hr salary when she learned that people would ‘earn more in a coffee shop’.

She said: ‘One of the last straws for me was when I was working during the lockdown and I talked to people who would make more than me in a coffee shop.
“I was driving around at £11/hr during the height of the pandemic, went through some really traumatic experiences and got nothing in return.
“In a way, I think I’ve manifested this event for us.”
Miss Winterson, who joined the NHS during the first Covid lockdown in March 2020 after a week’s training, added: ‘Everyone used to say I had a good butt in my uniform.
So I joked and said if this went up for any reason I would do an Only Fans.
“Nobody ever believed me because I wasn’t that type of girl, but here I am.”
After leaving the 999 service, Miss Winterson worked at a Covid testing center while doing OnlyFans.
But she quit after realizing that in the first 20 minutes of working on the challenging site, she made more money than she would have made all day.
Miss Winterson then strove to build her following on OnlyFans, while Miss Rose continued as an EMT.
Miss Rose, her partner of seven years, joined her full-time in January 2023 after a particularly traumatic call at work and months of “anxiety breakdowns.”

Miss Rose said: ‘There were times when I was on a long night shift and I would get videos of Kayley at home in the bath eating chocolate strawberries and pouring champagne on herself.
“I had quite traumatic experiences at work. The job started destroying my mental health and my perception of the world.”
She added, “I felt like I was devoting my life to something and getting absolutely nothing in return.”
Miss Rose, who signed up for an EMT internship in early 2020, wanted to spend more time with her friend and be able to live “somewhat normal life.”
The couple rarely met on shifts and struggled to see each other.
Miss Rose relived her experiences on the frontline, saying: ‘The work is so intense that even though we lived together, we sometimes went six days without spending time together.
The pair say their mental health is now “a million times better” and they are “proud of their work” – despite some backlash from online trolls.
Miss Winterson added ‘We’re bringing in more than I could have ever imagined when I worked in the NHS.
‘People are generally very helpful. Everyone we’ve spoken to understands that we weren’t happy before and this allows us to be happy and spend time together.
I will say, Only Fans is still hard work – it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme.
“People don’t realize it’s mostly about understanding the market, promoting yourself and asking yourself what makes people watch me instead of free porn.

‘We take pride in our work in the same way we took pride in our work when we worked in the NHS.’
She added: ‘Our mental health is 100 times better.
“We hardly live in reality anymore. We get up when we want, sleep when we want and barely know what day of the week it is.
“Ultimately, there has to be a point where enough is enough. We are glad we made the switch, have never looked back and are excited to see where we can go from here.”
