An heiress and her property developer husband staged a lavish gender reveal at a palatial home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs — with their baby’s gender exposed with a tower of blue silk bows.

Sydney socialite Lou O’Neil, the daughter of the founder of international cleaning company Hayco, and husband Jake O’Neil put on an intimate and stylish performance in Centennial Park this weekend, with bouquets of brown roses, a food banquet and a ” ethereal’ tablecloth.

The 34-year-old recently took to Instagram to share that the newlyweds were expecting their firstborn and to show off their lavish gender reveal party, held at in-laws Ned O’Neil’s property on Sunday.

Lou shared footage of the moment she and Jake learned the gender of their newborn surrounded by family.

She pulled open some double doors and found a tower of blue bows that indicated the couple had a baby boy on the way.

The couple’s pregnancy comes a year after the couple tied the knot at the heritage-listed Carthona mansion in Darling Point, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
