Jalen Hurts’ lucrative off-season got even better Friday night, as he earned his master’s degree in human relations from the University of Oklahoma.

In a video posted by Dr. David Surratt, Oklahoma’s vice president of student affairs and dean of students, Hurts was seen accepting his diploma as onlookers applauded the Eagles quarterback.

Hurts was also applauded by his agent, Nicole Lynn, who posted a congratulatory message to the Pro Bowl quarterback alongside a series of graduation photos.

“Lead his team to a Super Bowl, become the highest paid player in NFL history, while completing his Master’s Degree,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I couldn’t be prouder of you, J!”

Hurts earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and information sciences from the University of Alabama in just three years in 2018, but ended his college football career the following year at Oklahoma.

There he finished second of the Heisman Trophy and started his master’s.

Hurts’ final degree came just weeks after he signed a massive $255 million five-year contract with the Eagles – the largest in NFL history.

Of that amount, $179 million is fully guaranteed, although the 24-year-old made it clear that his work ethic will be completely unaffected.

“It’s not a moment when I can think because the journey isn’t over yet,” Hurts said.

“I’ve been constantly striving to be the best player I can be – with no boundaries, just trying to be the best version of myself.”

Hurts’ latest off-field performance will be particularly appreciated by his parents, who are both teachers.

The Eagles and their star quarterback will begin their 2023 season on September 10 with the Patriots in Week 1.
