Brooke Shields shows off her fab figure in sun dress as cruises on a boat during Thailand trip

After a long and busy promotional campaign for her ‘Handsome baby’ documentary, Brooke Shields has made her way to Thailand where she is currently enjoying the spoils of her success.

On Friday, the actress, model and proud mother of two took to Instagram and shared two photos, one of which shows her staring at the sky while sailing on a boat, and another of an anchored ship with six people on board.

“Friday in Thailand,” she gushed in the caption, which could mean the visit is both business and pleasure.

In the cover photo, Shields looks up to the sky, decked out in a brown and black patterned sundress, holding a glass of white wine in her right hand while holding onto a railing of the boat with her left.

By choosing to go shoeless with her long brown locks blowing in the wind, it is clear that the boat is sailing on the beautiful water, as the white foam and ripples in the water indicate.

Both images give her 1.8 million Instagram fans and followers a glimpse of the beautiful scenery the Southeast Asian country has to offer.

And any sort of relaxing time for Shields is well deserved, as the two-part Hulu documentary, officially titled Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, now holds the distinction of being the most-watched program of any ABC News launch ever to debut on Hulu, according to Variety.

Following its April 3 premiere on the streaming service, ABC News reported that the documentary ranked number one in total hours streamed in its first week compared to all previous ABC News premieres on Hulu.

“We are thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive response to this compelling story that needed to be told that struck a chord and resonated with audiences around the world,” said ABC News president Kim Godwin before thanking Shields “for her courage” to her story to be told, as well as the “team who worked tirelessly on this project.”

The documentary focuses on topics such as the sexualization Shields faced as a child star in the 1970s and 1980s, her relationship with her own mother, and Louis Malle’s controversial film, Pretty Baby (1978), starring in the starring a then 12-year-old Schilden.

Shields saw her star rise at the age of 12 with her starring role in Pretty Baby, written by Polly Platt, and also starred Keith Carradine and Susan Sarandon.

Set in 1917, the film focuses on a young girl being raised by her prostitute mother in a brothel in New Orleans’ Storyville red light district.

Although the film was mostly praised by critics, it sparked a wave of controversy for its depiction of child sexual exploitation and Shields’ on-screen nudity.

Shields maintained in later years that she “experienced no distress or humiliation whatsoever” while shooting her nude scenes in the film.

In a bold move, Shields would eventually put her acting and modeling careers on hold to attend Princeton University, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in French literature from the Ivy League school in 1987.

In the 1990s, Shields returned to acting, appearing in small roles in films, before eventually landing the lead role in the popular sitcom Suddenly Susan (1996-2000).

She’s continued to land film and television roles consistently over the years, all while focusing on her family, including daughters Rowan, 19, and Grier, 17, who she shares with husband Chris Henchy, 59.
