Tom Brady: Pat McAfee says Robert Kraft should give NFL legend Patriots a bet
Tom Brady who owns the Raiders ‘is straight out of a terrible movie,’ says Pat McAfee — as he asks why Robert Kraft isn’t offering him a share in the New England Patriots
Retired NFL gambler Pat McAfee has described Tom Brady, who may own the Las Vegas Raiders, as “straight out of a movie,” though he wonders why billionaire Robert Kraft won’t buy the seven-time Super Bowl champion a stake in the patriots.
On Friday, ESPN reported that Brady, 45, is in “deep discussions” with Raiders owner Mark Davis to join the team’s ownership group.
The stakes allow the legendary quarterback to become a limited partner of the NFL franchise. Talks have been “ongoing for weeks and could soon reach a resolution,” the report said.
“He owning the team he beat in the infamous tuck rule game that started that dynastic run is straight out of a nasty movie,” McAfee said of Brady’s link to the Raiders on his popular NFL show of the same name.
“But why doesn’t Robert Kraft just give him a piece [the Patriots] and let past times be over and let’s move on.

”Welcome back to the Tom family. You’ll forever be a Patriot because obviously you’ve won so many Super Bowls here six or whatever so they’re not going to have any Buccaneers jerseys especially without ending up like Payton [Manning] was with the Broncos,” the former Colts kicker added.
“But why not welcome him back into the New England family? Why doesn’t Kraft give him some? 10, 15, 20 percent?’
Brady, who left the Patriots after a botched contract talk in March 2020, already has an interest in another Davis team, the reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces.
He is said to be on good terms with Kraft after single-handedly attending his wedding to Dana Blumberg in October 2022 amid marital problems with now ex-wife and supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
Kraft revealed Thursday that Brady will be honored for his historic 20 years at the Patriots’ home opener for the 2023 NFL season.

Any deal between Brady and Davis on the NFL side would have to be approved by at least 24 owners in the league.
Brady’s 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports would not be affected by an investment with the Raiders, ESPN added.
Brady announced his retirement from the NFL on February 1 after 23 seasons.
A three-time league MVP, Brady set NFL records for wins with a quarterback (251), Super Bowl wins, passing yards (89,214), and passing touchdowns (649) during his career with the New England Patriots (2000-19) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020-22).
