Tom Brady is in “deep discussions” to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, according to a new report.

Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Patriots and Bucs, announced his retirement from the NFL in February after 23 seasons.

And now, ESPN has reported that talks between Brady and Vegas owner Mark Davis have been going on for weeks.

However, the publication quoted sources as calling the negotiations “extremely sensitive and fluid,” while a source close to the situation said Brady’s investment would be “passive” – ​​he would have no control over business or football matters.

An agreement between Brady and Davis that he would become a minority owner with the Raiders would be their second outing together this year.

But according to a source quoted by ESPN, FOX has “blessed” its potential partnership with the Raiders.

Before retiring, Brady was previously in talks with the Dolphins to become a minority owner of the franchise, according to an NFL investigation.

The contact with Brady was found to have occurred during the 2019 season and postseason when he was with the New England Patriots, and during and after the 2021 season when he was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

That resulted in Miami being penalized by the NFL for tampering violations, and they got the 2023 first round and 2024 third round on the matter.
