Luke Combs tenderly kisses his pregnant wife on the red carpet at the ACM Awards in Texas

Country superstar Luke Combs beamed next to his pregnant wife Nicole as they arrived Thursday at the 58th Academy Of Country Music Awards at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.

The 33-year-old singer – who welcomed a baby boy on Father’s Day last year – looked handsome in a dark blue checked suit with a white pocket square over a black button-down shirt.

Nicole – who married the Beautiful Crazy hitmaker in 2020 – sparkled in a dress with rhinestone frills and matching sky-high heels.

Her blonde locks were parted to the side and flowed in elegant curls down her shoulders.

Luke put a hand on his wife’s growing belly as they posed together on the red carpet.

The happy couple has an eleven-month-old boy named Tex Lawrence.

Luke and Nicole first met in 2016 while attending the Key West Songwriters Festival and started dating soon after.

In 2018, The Love You Anyway hitmaker popped the big question, and the two got engaged.

Two years later, in August 2020, the couple said “yes” in a romantic ceremony in Florida.

During an earlier interview on Absolute Country Radio, per Taste of the countrytold Luke what kind of father he wanted to be and his desire to have a family on the road with him in the future.

“I’d love to have them out when they want to be out, as often as they can be out,” he explained.

“You know, that’s important to me. I don’t want to be a dad who’s not around or the dad you see on TV and think, “Oh, that’s my dad, and that’s where he is today, I guess,” the star added. “Family is important to me. I would like to be the man who throws the football at them.’

Luke released his latest album Gettin’ Old on March 24 and began his world tour, which includes a total of 36 dates in March.

Combs will not only perform in the United States, but will also give concerts in countries such as Australia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and also Sweden. The tour ends in London on October 20.

Combs was one of four artists to score five nominations, along with Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert and Cole Swindell.

The top prize for Entertainer of the Year goes to Combs, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood or Morgan Wallen.

Country music fans can rejoice as the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards air tonight at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

The ACMs will be broadcast from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and viewers at home can watch it on Amazon Prime Video — even without a subscription — and on Twitch’s Amazon Music Channel.

Two country superstars whose appeal transcends genre boundaries – Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks – host the ceremony.

“While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him over the years, I can’t believe we never had the chance to work together,” Parton said of Brooks in a statement shared after she was announced as host.

Unfortunately, fans probably won’t see the legendary entertainers duet, though Parton will still perform.

Back on stage: The singer will also kick off his 2023 world tour on Saturday, March 25, spanning a total of 36 dates; seen in February in Los Angeles at the 2023 Grammys

‘I think [Brooks’ wife] Trisha [Yearwood] will also be featured on the show, so I thought I wouldn’t mess with that,” Parton joked to reporters at a press event. “I don’t want her kicking my little ass!”

HARDY leads the nominations this year with seven, while Lainey Wilson is close behind with six nominations.

Wallen was engulfed in controversy in 2021 after he was caught on video drunkenly shouting the N-word. In response, his record deal was suspended and some radio stations stopped playing his music, while streaming services removed his songs from playlists.

However, country fans reacted to his use of racial slurs by purchasing his 2021 album Dangerous: The Double Album in even greater numbers.

Lambert is the most awarded person ever at the ACM Awards, and she broke the record for most Female Artist of the Year nominations with her 17th this year, surpassing Reba McEntire’s 16.

Performers at Thursday’s ceremony include Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Jo Dee Messina, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman.

He’s best known for his hit pop songs, but Ed Sheeran will also bring his smooth sound to the rough show.

Before her performance, Parton will debut World On Fire, the first track on her upcoming album Rockstar.

The cover’s LP is a departure for her, marking her first rock album, and it was inspired after she was nominated – and subsequently inducted – into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
