A fan learned his lesson to never be in the line of fire — or even near it — after a YouTuber smoked him with his turn at an event.

Garrett Clark is a member of the Good Good YouTube crew, a golf-themed channel dedicated to trick shots and the fun side of the sport.

Clark is a good golfer, has 730,000 followers himself and is said to be able to play the ball 300 yards.

But even the best golfers can mess up, and one fan learned that the hard way.

At an event held by the channel, the Good Good Championship at Arizona’s Dobson Ranch, Clark turned it upside down this week.

A viral clip of the incident showed the shot flying towards the crowd

A golf YouTuber this week hit a fan with his tee during the event on his own channel

In a viral clip, he can be seen surrounded by fans on the first tee, with the crowd even precariously stretching out both sides on the tee box.

However, unfortunately from one of those spectators he hooks his turn and drills a fan.

Another clip from a different angle in front of the tee box shows the shot floating through the air before hitting the person seemingly holding the phone.

The poor innocent bystander appears to be a young man named Val, @va_smn on Instagram, and Clark shared a photo with his profile of them together after the incident.

Clark reportedly found the fan after the hit to apologize and gifted him some merchandise.

Clark captioned his photo, “Happy to be on the track with my man Val! Glad all is well, let’s have a nice day.’

In the comments section, PGA Tour professional and prankster Min Woo Lee joked, “Tell them to bring me my money – trap (probably)” with a winking emoji.

Clark came up with the idea for Good Good while in college and launched the channel in 2018, according to Golf magic.

He initially used the channel to film wild trick shots and document his journey to turning pro.

He decided to leave his professional dream behind and focus on content creation full time.

Since then, Stephen Castaneda, Colin Ross, Matt Scharff, Max Putnam, Tom ‘Bubbie’ Broders and Luke Kwon have come on board and thanks to the group’s wave content, they have attracted 1.19 million subscribers.
