Max George risked girlfriend Maisie Smith’s wrath on Thursday when he shared a cheeky photo of her sleeping on the couch.

The singer, 34, took to his Instagram story to share the hilarious photo of the former EastEnders actress, 21.

She dozed off with her mouth wide open in a hot pink zip-up sweatshirt and a face full of glamorous makeup.

The Wanted star wrote, “Sleeping Beauty @maisiesmithofficial. A real angel.’

It comes after the lovelorn couple couldn’t take their eyes off each other as they enjoyed a romantic dance at the Louvre in Abu Dhabi last month.

The pair, who competed against each other on Strictly’s 2020 series, decided to put some moves into practice as they twirled around the pool.

It comes after Maisie was stunned when Max “proposed” during a pre-recorded episode of The Chase Celebrity Special, which aired on Sunday.

Maisie flashed a hint of her toned legs in a thigh-high slit maxi dress as The Wanted star Max spun her around.

Maisie captioned the recording: ‘Twirls at the Louvre’.

Fans took to the comment section to gush about the romantic snaps. Bake Off star John Whaite wrote, “You guys.”

The couple headed to Abu Dhabi after Maisie enjoyed a trip to Paris the week before.

The couple surprised host Bradley Walsh, 62, when they revealed they were together, with the presenter asking them: ‘So you’ve known each other before then?’, to which Max jokingly replied: ‘Yeah, we know each other a bit. bit.’

When Bradley started asking the pair’s quiz questions, it became clear they were an item, prompting him to say, “I didn’t realize I was so sorry.” Um, so when’s the big day?’

Max surprised everyone, especially Maisie, and replied, “Funny you should say it,” reaching into his pocket as if to get something out.

Maisie was left open-mouthed before bursting into laughter when she realized Max had indeed not taken a ring out of his pocket.

It turned out that Max and Maisie were secretly dating last August, after being spotted kissing on a flight.

The news came just days after it was revealed that Max had split from his on/off girlfriend Stacey Giggs, 43, who was previously married to footballer Ryan Giggs.

Max and Maisie are said to have bonded over the Strictly Come Dancing live tour, after both starring on the show in 2020.

It comes after Maisie recently dismissed concerns about her 13-year age gap with boyfriend Max, saying she’s a “consenting 21-year-old woman.”
