Disgusting footage of a brawl between a coach and linesman at a junior rugby league match has surfaced online, with parents standing on the sidelines labeling the scenes as ‘disgusting behaviour’.
The incident occurred on April 30 following an under-11 match between the Redcliffe Dolphins and Norths Devils in Brisbane.
It is clear that tension was building between the Redcliffe Dolphins coach and the Norths Devils linesman leading up to full-time.
“I was returning the tee when I looked to the left and saw the coach and the linesman play hit after hit, they just had a real punch,” one parent told the Courier Mail.
“Once it started everyone got involved and I remember thinking, ‘What’s going on?’

“It’s just a disgusting act. So unacceptable.’
In the clip, the two men involved in the brawl can be heard yelling at each other – while other shocked parents eventually step in to separate them.
The video also captures another parent yelling, “this is a great kid’s game.”
A Queensland Rugby League spokesperson confirmed that the body is investigating the incident.
A Queensland Police spokesman said they have been made aware of the incident but no arrests have been made.
The confrontational scenes follow football referee Khodr Yaghi who was hospitalized in southwest Sydney last month after knocking out three teeth and breaking his jaw in three places.

Amateur boxer Adam Abdallah, 25, was later charged with wounding Yaghi with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and a fight.
He was denied bail and will appear in court on June 28.
It emerged on Wednesday that a Sydney secondary school called police after Yaghi’s son was bullied online and in the playground about the incident, with the perpetrators telling him that ‘your dad started it’.
