Theoryofeverything looks to prove he is more than a handicapper on Thursday

Everything in the right place… Conditions in Chester are more like Jumps races than a summer Flat festival, but Theoryofeverything looks set to prove on Thursday that he’s more than a handicapper

  • Theory of Everything has a chance to impress for Dante Stakes next week
  • The horse has a race entry, won by Desert Crown last May
  • Tips from racing expert Robin Goodfellow – Best bets for Thursday’s meetings

Conditions in Chester on Wednesday resembled Jumps races more than a summer Flat festival, but deep ground shouldn’t negate the class of THEORY OF ALL (Chester, 2.05).

Frankel’s son plowed through deep ground to score on his debut at Doncaster in early April and was then thrown straight into the company of the group when he tackled Chaldean and Isaac Shelby in the Greenham Stakes.

Although subsequent 2,000 Guineas winner Chaldean failed to complete the race with a rider on board, Isaac Shelby achieved impressive success and will likely be one of the most sought after entrants for the French Guineas.

The time of the race was such that Theoryofeverything drastically improved his performance in Town Moor. He has a entry in next week’s Dante Stakes, suggesting he is considered more than a handicap by his handler. Hopefully he can prove that on Thursday.

CITY STREAK (Chester, nap, 3.45) was a brave runner-up over course and distance on easy terrain last summer and could make a bold attempt to go one step further in the TMT Group Handicap.
