I’m A Celebrity SPOILER: Myleene Klass and Carol Vorderman discuss ditching the scales

Myleene Klass and Carol Vorderman share a candid discussion about body positivity on Wednesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…South Africa.

The pair are no strangers to confidently flaunting their figures on social media, and on the upcoming show, the pair admit that they’ve both ditched their scales to avoid focusing on their weight.

Myleene, 45, who reprized her iconic white bikini shower on Tuesday’s episode, admits she dropped her scales when she welcomed her two daughters because she insisted their lives wouldn’t be “ruled by numbers.”

During the campfire chat, Carol says: “I only go by dress size.”

Myleene agrees, saying, “The second time I had daughters, I threw off the scale. No way, I don’t let them rule by numbers. Those numbers.’

Carol confirms, “I threw mine away in 1999. I didn’t know mine [weight] this century.’

Myleene says, “People ask me about my weight all the time and I don’t know.

“Why let your kids measure themselves, their worth, their contribution on a scale? I was like, no, get rid of it, I don’t want it in the house.”

Carol says, “Good for you.”

Myleene says, “Body positivity is so important. I want my girls to be empowered by what their abilities are and what they have to say for themselves and how they think.

“I want that to be celebrated, not skin and glands and fat. We’ve got it all.’

One of the other camp mates then asks Carol how good she was at school and Carol confesses, “Never did my homework.” Serious!

‘Half an hour in the back of the bus. It was all too easy. I was always fobbed off. I once told a nun to fuck off. She was horrible. I was a naughty girl. I was in Manchester nightclubs with the bad guys when I was 15. I loved it.’

It comes after Myleene recreated THAT white bikini shower scene in Tuesday night’s episode — 17 years after the iconic Jungle moment.

She slipped into similar swimwear to the ones she wore all those years ago as she flaunted her incredible and timeless physique.

She was originally known for wearing the white triangle skimpy bikini in the shower during her first time on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2006.

Myleene was stunned as she took the refreshing shower in the skimpy two-piece suit.

Elsewhere in the show, she talked about her figure and the defining moment that changed her view of her body image.

Speaking to 62-year-old Carol Vorderman, she said: “When I had daughters, I threw off the scale.

“People ask me about my weight all the time and I never know.

“Why let someone measure themselves, measure their worth, measure their contribution on a scale?

“I can’t stand it, get rid of it, don’t want it in the house.”

She shared how it was that she had her oldest daughter Ava in 2007 that made her rethink her body image.

She said, “I think the way you look in the mirror is how they will look in the mirror.

“I always try not to be like ‘oh I don’t like that, I don’t like this,’ as that then translates. I’m not going to let them rule by numbers. Only good grades.’

It comes as Myleene previously revealed that the first white bikini she wore after the show sold for a whopping £7,500.

Despite the scene being synonymous with Myleene, before the new show aired, she warned viewers not to expect the same shower scenes as her first time as she “doesn’t look like it anymore.”

But she seems to have reversed her decision as she sizzles in the beautiful swimwear.
