Sir Rod Stewart gives fans a backstage glimpse of his dressing room
Sir Rod Stewart gave fans a glimpse of his dressing room backstage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada, while enjoying a day off from on-site performances on Tuesday night.
The British rocker, 78, will take the stage at Sin City on selected dates this month before returning in November.
He will entertain fans as he sings a plethora of hits spanning the five decades of his career from his show Rod Stewart: The Hits.
He took to Instagram on Tuesday and shared a clip of himself welcoming a camera into his dressing room so he could show his fans where he prepares for the performances.
He said, ‘Come to my dressing room. Not many people come back here, but you’re special,” before joking, “I tell all the girls that!”

Sir Rod then walked over to his yellow stationary bike which he said he used to ‘warm up my legs’ on his bike, before posing in front of a microphone stand standing in front of a mirror where he said he warmed up his voice.
He went to his wardrobe and showed his followers what he had hanging on the rack, displaying a myriad of brightly colored outfits in order of what he would be wearing on his show.
He said, “I believe it’s all part of show business and I like clothes, and I always have, even when I didn’t have money, but now that I’m in a position to show off a bit more, I can wardrobe change how i like it.
“It’s show business and it’s also Las Vegas and I like being here. It’s all part of the show. That’s entertainment!’
He then selected an elaborately patterned pink and gold jacket, which he said he had named Maureen.
Rod then moved on to a blue shirt, insisting it was called Sue, before holding up a leopard print jacket, which he claimed was called Josephine.
He continued, “They all have their little names. This is just part of my wardrobe,” check that out, before making his way to a huge walk-in closet.
Rod captioned his post: ‘Hello friends! Since we have a short break between concerts, you can take a little tour of my dressing room at Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas.”

It comes after Sir Rod secretly renewed his wedding vows to his wife Penny Lancaster for the second time last month.
The Maggie May singer, who tied the knot in 2007 to model Penny, 52, and who are on their way to their 16th wedding anniversary, reportedly held the ceremony in Australia, where Sir Rod was on tour.
women’s Day magazine said they reaffirmed their views alongside their sons Alastair, 17, and Aiden, 12, as well as niece Raphaella, 18, after previously renewing their vows for the first time to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in 2017.
The magazine added that Sir Rod “staggered” his tour dates so that the couple’s loved ones could attend the ceremony.
A source close to the family told the publication ahead of the renewal: ‘There’s a very good reason Rod insisted he spread out his tour dates – it’s the perfect place and the perfect time to renew their wedding vows.
Now they can’t wait and are using this opportunity to do something special while they’re here.
“Penny and Rod love being in love. They think there’s something fun about celebrating their vows in different locations around the world, so why not do it all again in Sydney!’
The couple first renewed their vows a decade after their wedding at their home in Essex in front of 100 family and friends.

Sir Rod’s two previous wives before he married Penny were actress Alana Collins, 77, who he was with from 1979 to 1984, and model Rachel Hunter, 53, whom he married in 1990 before divorcing in 2006.
Along with the two sons he has with Penny, father-of-eight Rod had eldest child Sarah, 59, with ex-partner Susannah Boffey, and has daughter Kimberly, 43, and son Sean, 42, with ex-wife Alana .
He also had daughter Ruby, 35, with his former model girlfriend Kelly Emberg, 63, and Renee, 30, and Liam, 28, with Rachel.
