It comes after Chelsee revealed that her five-year-old daughter has been racially abused online.

The actress finds it “heartbreaking” when trolls turn their attention to her little girl Coco – whom she shares with ex-partner Jack Malloy – but she refuses to be drawn into a war of words with the bullies.

She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: ‘My daughter is racially insulted through social media.

‘I’ve been getting a lot of messages about Coco. When it comes to an innocent child, it’s no fun. It’s heartbreaking. But I try not to answer back. I’m not having fun with it.’

The star admitted that she has been a target for trolls for years, and things got especially bad when she took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, when she placed second with partner Pasha Kovalev.

She said, “When I was on Strictly, I got a lot of hate. It’s such a big show – that was the first time a lot of people saw me. I was called ‘hippopotamus’ and things like that.’

Chelsee insisted she has “thick skin” but says she can’t stand people taunting her daughter viciously.

The soap star no longer searches online to find out what people have said about her, because there are ‘always’ some ‘nasty things’.

The soap star revealed there is a liaison representative the Hollyoaks cast can speak to if they need further support.

Chelsee first spoke about online bullies targeting Coco when she was just two years old.

She shamed the vicious messages on Twitter after racists called her toddler a “black monkey.”

Chelsee shared a screenshot of a sample message she received, labeling the abuse as “disgusting.”

The troll’s message read, ‘Right sl*t are’t ya? Daughter is a black monkey.’

Chelsee tweeted, saying, “You know what, I get nasty messages all day, especially about myself!

“I’m a big girl, I can handle that, but saying something so disgusting about my beautiful, innocent baby upsets me.

“Especially when there’s nothing you can do to protect them from people’s mean words.”
