Vogue editor Edward Enninful shares BTS snaps as he join Katy Perry at King Charles’ Coronation

Edward Enninful joined friend Katy Perry and fellow VIPs at King Charles’ Coronation at Westminster Abbey, London, on Saturday.

And the British Vogue editor, 51, took to his Instagram grid following the historic opportunity to share a slew of behind-the-scenes snaps.

Edward looked good as he arrived in a slim morning suit and proudly wore his BLE on his left breast pocket.

He layered the fitted jacket over a crisp white shirt and completed the ensemble with a dotted tie.

The magazine’s maestro took selfies with pop superstar Katy, 38, whom he escorted to the ceremony, as well as other fashion majors.

The Firework singer turned heads in her vintage-style lavender Vivienne Westwood ensemble.

Katy showed off her slim body in a sheath dress paired with a matching short-sleeved coat with a nipped-in waist and matching opera gloves.

She sported a huge saucer-style net purse, while wearing a Vivienne Westwood necklace and carrying her belongings in a white designer top-handle bag.

Edward posed for snaps outside the famous Abbey before joining fashion designer Ozwald Boateng and Vogue’s Vanessa Kingori OBE inside the venue.

He captioned the post: ‘An honor to be at Westminster Abbey today to witness the coronation of HM King Charles III’.

“When I arrived in the UK as a young boy, I’m not sure I could have ever imagined experiencing this moment in person. How much this country has changed and how much will change. Today felt like living history’.

Born in Ghana, Edward emigrated to England after a 1985 coup and settled in London with his parents and five siblings.

Earlier in the day, Katy was spotted taking a photo of herself at the memorial to Winston Churchill at Westminster Abbey – just hours after she was mocked for not being able to find her seat – and later tripped over her heels outside.

The California Gurls singer, who will perform at the coronation concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday, took a quick snap of her feet as she stood on the stone dedicated to the wartime prime minister.

Earlier today, Perry was caught by amused fans looking like a stray lamb searching far and wide for her seat.

Unable to see thanks to an impressive wizard, she was seen tilting her head and spinning in circles in a desperate search for her place.

Dressed head-to-toe in lilac with a huge headpiece and Vivienne Westwood choker, the singer comically tweeted after the ceremony that her fans “don’t have to worry” when she found her seat.

In further antics, the singer was spotted taking selfies with guests at the historic abbey and stumbling on her high white heels as she left the ceremony with other guests.

Along with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, the pop star was photographed arriving at the abbey earlier this morning.

It was also revealed today that she will be staying at Windsor Castle tonight before performing tomorrow alongside music legend Lionel Richie, as well as Take That, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel.

The event, which will take place in the grounds of Windsor Castle, will take place in front of a crowd of 20,000 members of the public and invited guests and will be broadcast on BBC television and radio stations.

As a special honor for her performance, Katy is given an exclusive stay in the royal residence of the 1,000-year-old castle.
