Biden, 80, mocked for saying he is the best candidate for 2024 because he is the most experienced candidate EVER

Joe Biden has been derided for trying to turn his advancing years into something positive by claiming to be the most experienced presidential candidate ever.

Biden — who, at 80, is the oldest man to ever occupy the White House — says he’s worth a second term because he “knows more than the vast majority of people.”

The president gave the liberal network MSNBC a very rare interview on Friday, and when asked why he should be re-elected if a Fortune 500 company never hires an 82-year-old CEO, he said, “Because I’ve acquired an awful lot from wisdom’.

“I have more experience than anyone has ever walked through the office,” he told the outlet. “I think I’ve proven myself to be both honorable and effective.”

He also praised his VP Kamala Harris – whose polls continue to fall – claiming she “didn’t get the credit she deserves.”

Ruhle pointed out that Biden’s harshest critics speculate that he “elevates her because they don’t think you would serve a full term.”

Harris is seen as a particularly weak link in the Biden administration, and the prospect of her taking over as president if he fails to serve a second term is likely to be exploited by GOP rivals.

Biden, 80, joined MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle last night to discuss his 2024 reelection bid, which he announced late last month. While defending his re-election campaign, the politician – who is the oldest US president – insisted that he has “acquired a damn lot of wisdom” and “knows more than the vast majority of people”

However, Ruhle wasn’t done questioning Biden about his push to keep Kamala’s image front and center in his campaign, as he featured her 10 times in his bid-announcement video. She noted, “When Obama was in that position, he didn’t mention you, sir.”

Again, Biden dismissed it simply by saying that he and Obama were “good friends” and that they have “a little different style of how we do things.”

Twitter was quick to respond to comments from Republicans and critics about Biden’s claim, with one writing, “Heard Joe say he knows more than the vast majority of people” with 21 smiling emoji faces.

A man just posted nine laughing emojis in response.

Another called the president an “egomaniac out of control/crook who is not qualified to do anything in government.” Not even a dog catcher.’

“If the last 2 years are the result of acquired wisdom, then the word has no meaning anymore,” one man wrote.

Another accused of acquiring ‘a lot of power’.

What fantasy world do you live in? Trump is a lot better. President Joe Biden is ever more competent. He fucking knows what he’s saying and what he’s doing. Donald Trump is the true president of this country,” wrote William Lane.

Lies, lies, and more lies, and now manipulated data from Joe Biden and his pathetic administration. Roll on President Trump back in office to fix the mess Joe Biden has made over the past 2 years. God knows what a mess it’s going to be in another 2 years of Pedo Joe Bidens management,” Stanley Youngson wrote on the popular social media platform.

Biden also defended his administration after being accused of not wanting to “play along” like Trump.

Trump has also announced plans to re-enter in 2024, and is currently hammering likely Republican rival Ron DeSantis in the polls.

“Play ball, what?” he said indignantly. ‘[Trump] increased the debt he created… When I took office, we had an incredibly high unemployment rate, we’re in a situation where we had very little movement in whatever was going on, and look at the employment rate right now. 250,000 new jobs today alone, highest participation of women in 75 years in the labor market, lowest unemployment rate for African Americans.

“Things are moving,” he said.

He also claimed to have reduced the national debt by $1.7 trillion.

‘[That’s] more than anyone has ever done in history,” he told Ruhle.

The president also called House Speaker Kevin McCarthy an “honest man.”

“I think he’s in a position, although he had to make a deal,” he said. ‘Fifteen votes, the one where he sold just about everything.

“There’s a Republican party and there’s the MAGA Republicans and the MAGA Republicans have really put him in a position where in order to remain a speaker he has to agree — he’s agreed to things that he may have believed, but that are just extreme.’

However, Biden believes he can get things done in his second term, despite MAGA lawmakers.

He formally announced his re-election in a three-minute video featuring footage from Jan. 6 and abortion protests, attacking “MAGA Republicans” and highlighting his time in the White House as he called on voters to “finish this job.”

The 80-year-old has thrown his hat in the ring despite increasing questions about his age – which will be 86 at the end of his second term – polls and concerns from his own party about whether he is the best candidate.

He also took aim at Marjorie Taylor Greene and Republicans for wanting to ban books, dictate “health decisions women can make,” and “tell people who to love.”

He did not name his Republican rivals. But as he spoke, images of Rep. Greene on screen, as well as images of Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis with their arms wrapped around each other. The two men are considered the top two contenders for the Republican nomination.

Trump is currently leading in the polls and that creates a possible rematch between him and Biden. The president repeated many of his 2020 campaign themes in his announcement video — including a focus on the “struggle for democracy” — in a sign that Biden and his team believe Trump could be their competitor in the general election.

“Every generation has a moment when they had to stand up for democracy. Stand up for their fundamental freedoms. I believe this is ours,” Biden said in the video posted to his social media channels Tuesday morning.

“That is why I am running for re-election as President of the United States. Join us. Let’s finish the job,” he said.
